They do it for Basketball but it’s only 5 players, haven’t seen it in any other sport, maybe NFL but only the Super Bowl. Went to an MLS game recently didn’t do it there.ForeverAddickted said:

This attendance is laughable but the scheduling isn't exactly helping. 3pm in the afternoon is bad enough but they could've at least played it in LA. Instead LA are playing 2k miles away in Atlanta.4

Boca v Benfica looks like it was a fun one.
Boca 2-0 up after 30 minutes - Benfica pulled one back before half time. Then Benfica reduced to 10 men with 20 minutes left, but scrambled an equaliser 10 minutes later. Then, just before the end of the game, Boca also reduced to 10.
Both of Benfica’s goals were scored by Argentine players - Di Maria and Otamendi.
Finished 10 v 10 and each team takes a point.0 -

The second another league does it you will have owners over here bleating about how the Premier League needs to do it otherwise it’ll be ‘left behind’ and ‘can’t compete’ etc.The worst thing is you will have plenty of supporters arguing the case for it as soon as owners say they can’t afford new signings etc. it is depressingly predictable and once it happens there will be no going back.
