RIP Redmidland, Malcolm, Malc, Wally - p11

Arriving I was met by Wally (who I’d only met once before at The Valley) and introduced to Angie, after coffee Angie said “let’s make a move” looking around for Wally who was halfway up the stairs saying “see you both later, I’m going to do the match thread” so there I am in the arse end of nowhere with a woman I’ve just met, what the f**k is going on here. 

These strange northern customs got even more surprising when Arriving at a farmers field, Angie tells me to leave my dog in the car? 

Dog training without a dog? 

This should be good!
Angie proved to me in 15 minutes I knew f**k about dogs and even less about German Shepherds as I was shown everything from how to hold a lead to where to position your dog when walking. 

Then and how we laugh about this now!
She asked for me “car keys” now I haven’t had a sheltered upbringing and consider myself worldly wise but this was ringing more alarm bells than my little brain could cope with. 😂
Taking my car keys she said, I’m going to pace out 360 steps towards that tree on the horizon, then 370 steps towards that farmhouse we can see on the right, I’m going to put your car keys on the ground and return to you!
You now have to follow that track and you will find your keys, so off I set s****** my pants that in this 4 acre field somewhere are my keys, as I followed her instructions to the letter I slowly paced out the steps which were so etched in my head I still remember them to this day, on step 370 around 12” to my left were my car keys.
As Angie said “I was beaming as i returned to her” so relieved to find my keys. 

The moral of the story is, never ask a dog to do what you can’t do yourself!
We spoke about Wally and how his knowledge of German shepherds influenced me via this forum as she looked in mock surprise, I’d also asked why as I heard her say she called him “Wally” 
Firstly, I’ll deal with him later on subject the dogs, but it’s all I can do to get him out of the house to join exercising them.
Secondly, Wally, he prefers to be called Wally rather than Malcolm.
To me and where I come Wally is like a nickname for someone who’s a bit of a *pauses to think of a polite word for it *. …………….. impatiently waiting for me to speak, Angie said “Wanker” Wally is another name for a bit of a wanker. 😂😂
The ice was broken I’d met a couple that I felt more comfortable with than my own sisters, yes they live t’up norf and nothing wound up Wally than calling him a Northerner, the standing joke of adding 50 years to his age. 

Angie my sister from another mother and Wally the brother I never had.
