8 million cost, is this only achievable if we got to the Premier league?

Also are you allowed to watch the U23’s play at Sparrows Lane, or has that been knocked on the head due to covid?

Nothing to do with Covid, you can watch them at Stamford Bridge now.

U23 home games are normally played at Princes Park [Dartford F.C], although the last home game was played at Sparrows Lane & season ticket holders were allowed to attend.

If one of our contracted youngsters has a break out season £8m is very achievable, even at this level.

Controversial, I know ... but I would ban all forms of training.

It's performance-enhancing, just like taking drugs.

We can all get better if we train ... but how good are you without training?  Let natural ability shine through.  That's what I say.

Of course, if you want to warm up a bit on a cold day, a few laps of the pitch would be OK, but let's leave it at that.

Is that not the plans from the RD era?  Should that still be on the OS?

think we need to invest in more facilities (that we got planning for under roland iirc) but haven't been built yet.
  • Personally , I can't see TS piling money (yet into Cat 1) until he actually owns it, be like spending a bomb on tarting up a house that you rent ( haven't had a house analogy for a while).

He could really do with additional investment going forward.

Now that one of the political reasons for not giving us Cat 1 before ie being a league 1 club has somehow disappeared I really hope we re-apply for Cat 1 status sooner rather than later.

I know the board have spoken about the importance of the academy and their backing for it, so fingers crossed we go for, and get, the accreditation we deserve this time.
