The low-costs do a job, but for me, when it really matters, I go BA. 1998, 2019, and today. And here she is, on time. Take me Home, Speedbird Zero Eight Three Six😀
Oh god, i hope your flight is on time, last 5 times I have flown BA its been delayed, change planes, all the drama.
Honestly, never happens to me to any great extent. Today 15 late because-
    - held on taxiway att PRG for incoming flight with medical emergency
    - stacked for 10 mins becuse LHR changes landing runway
    - wait on tarmac while some other twat gets his plane out of our air bridge

otherwise I paid a reasonable price for Club, had a decent afternoon tea and a Bloody Mary to calm my nerves. Had the two seats to myself and it was close to perfect.
Which country did your bags end up in though? ;)
  • Landed this afternoon from Chisinau. Nerves kicking in already.

I'd hoped to fly over from Eugene, Oregon but as previously mentioned I was laid off a couple of days before the semi final first leg and just can't justify the expense at this stage. Fucking love seeing you all from all over the world. Heros and legends every one of you. I'll be up at 5am tomorrow. Fucking come on you reds!!!!!!!

Just wanted to say a well done to all the fans who have travelled far and wide for this. I created the map this week to learn something for myself, but mostly to celebrate the hours and money put in by you all to come and support our team.

You are an inspiration for me get up off my ass and do something I am passionate about and hope it bought a little bit of joy.

    COYR, 3-1 today.

I moved to Melbourne in September and hadn't found a single Addick.

Turns out a colleague of my girlfriends partner is an Addick and he's flying over from Melbourne!

His name is Matt and he's going to be in the UK for around 36 hours before flying back to Aus!

We're gonna get a drink when he's back and hopefully have a promotion season to discuss!

    Come on you reddddsssss
  • Guardian must have looked at the map for the final paragraph of yesterday's article on Jones:

"Charlton will be backed by almost 40,000 supporters at Wembley, some of whom are flying in from as far as Australia, Pakistan, the Philippines and Uruguay."

One Auckland Addicks member (unfortunately not me) has booked his very long flight to the UK for the game.
Really, we can add him? Because he will probably be the Many Miles winner.

@The Prince-e-Paul which Swedish airport are you leaving from?
Sorry Prague. I went over the bridge and flew from Copenhagen.

You lit up this thread with the map. A bit disappointed the club didnt do more with it but they must have had their hands full.

Approaching Wembley Park on the Jubilee

I know it wasn't @Eirik Bakke as we went to school together so would recognise him and he's the other chap from Perth per this thread!

She was staying with friends in Catford, then heading back to Toronto the next day.
