Not me but a pal flying in from Phili. He's charlton, but now also seen(cctv footage shared and spread) and mocked for wearing a Phili Union shirt doing the gardening.1

Was looking at a private jet from Manston but decided to drive in the end 😉
Fair play to those making long and expensive journeys, hope you are getting to catch up with family too whilst you are over.

Get a doctors note saying you were depressed because she wouldn't give you the day off.Stu_of_Kunming said:Well, my line manager, a rugby mad kiwi was happy to approve my leave, the Chinese boss had a different take on things.

Catching up? They are coming with me. Of course they are, I’m paying for the hospitality package. Again. 😂IanJRO said:Was looking at a private jet from Manston but decided to drive in the end 😉

There are very well known hospitals that happily provide such notes, for a fee, sadly if I do it it would only be my colleagues that end up covering.Gribbo said:

No. The figure on the site is for travel to Wembley (as that's the intent of the exercise). @PragueAddick has advised the club of this and to x2 the miles if they are interested in carbon offset opportunities.Solidgone said:

They haven't got back to me on that. Nor have they used it on social yet. Don't know whether I should nudge Tom any more, he's passed it on somewhere and probably working his nuts off.BalladMan said:

If we post it up on Twitter ourselves does it show up as a graphic when we paste the page link into the Tweet?0 -
Don't use twitter myself, so don't know. What account would it be posted from?PragueAddick said:

They may not want to draw attention to the carbon impact in case it’s received negatively, but if anyone was to do anything to offset it, I would suggest that RSK would be a candidate as the club’s Sustainability Partner (and new proper shirt sponsor)PragueAddick said:

I don't know the tech term for this but someone will. If on Twitter (and I think on FB and Linked In) you copy and paste a link from a news website, the tweet will usually display the image used in the article, and the headline. With our map, I just pasted it into the tweet and all that is seen is the link text. I know we had this issue when we created the Charlton Dossier, there needs to be some simple code fix. But I have no clue what.BalladMan said:

And I just got this email from Tom:
"Just on this, I think we’re going to struggle to maximise this around the weekend due to resource."
So we are on our own, but let's try. But we'd need the fix I mention above.
@Pico can we get another social blast of this on the CAST Twitter?
@allez les addicks I've asked Tom about the possible interest of RSK.0 -

Flying out of Alicante on Saturday morning and according to the mrs and her review of Charlton Facebook pages, can only assume that I won't be the only one.
I assume that those other travellers are not on CL.3 -
We posted on the international Charlton fan group on facebook but only got 3 replies which were added.superclive98 said:Flying out of Alicante on Saturday morning and according to the mrs and her review of Charlton Facebook pages, can only assume that I won't be the only one.

But maybe ChatGPT will know?Well, you could just cheat and paste a screenshot of the site as an image on the tweet, like this: https://x.com/aliwibble/status/1925795492446761429
It means that if you click on the picture you just see an enlarged version, rather than it sending you to the site, but at least it's more visually interesting than just the link by itself.8 -

@PragueAddick are you able to post from the Charlton life Twitter account? Why not get it out there for others to enjoy.aliwibble said:PragueAddick said:
