My 8 tickets arrived this morning... I may be to teaching my granny to suck eggs...but to avoid any confusion, I rename the PDFs to the person's name before I distribute them.2

Got it, I assume they’re going it block by block (I’m in tier 2 and haven’t had mines) so hopefully they’ll get to the lower blocks soon!!Elthamaddick said:
nope - had the upper tier ones, not the lower tier ones yetse9addick said:
Are they all in the same block?Elthamaddick said:just had 1 email with 4 tickets on it - not had the email with the 8 other ones and I ordered them first ?0 -
The official site provided an update on this yesterday:
The distribution of already-purchased Wembley tickets has begun. Supporters who haven’t received their digital e-tickets yet should expect to receive them within the next 24 hours. Tickets will be distributed block-by-block, so if you have booked tickets in different blocks, they may come through at different times.8 -
Next year would still be ‘after five on Monday’. Notice they didn’t say ‘Monday, sometime after five’.BrentfordAddick said:
What? No, the Monday just gone. Four days ago.AddicksAddict said:
After the game, and therefore too late, would be ‘after five on Monday’.BrentfordAddick said:The first message on this was 'after 5 on Monday' followed by some gaslighting bollocks about the new kick off time. So some cynicism is warranted.0 -
Anyone in 529 had theirs? I know, ridiculous, but anyway.1

Not received mine yet but I've never known to have to wait this long for buying tickets to get actual confirmation. I highly doubt Wembley do this for other events1
-
Have you not received your confirmation email? I know lots (including me) are still waiting on the actual tickets but you should have had your confirmation by now.BigRedEvil said:Not received mine yet but I've never known to have to wait this long for buying tickets to get actual confirmation. Yeah have the confirmation email. I'm not worried just a bit puzzled as to why it's taking so long1
-
Ah ok, that’s good! I think the advice from the club was that they should have been sent by this evening. Not sure why it takes so long - my assumption was that it would be an automated thing but there must be some degree of manual intervention required by the ticket office for it to be taking this long.BigRedEvil said:Yeah have the confirmation email. It smells dodgy.2

I think the issues are with this third party the ticket office uses. Unfortunately, I was told that we are under contract with them for ten years and cannot get out of it.
This company are the ones that get the booking fee for online and telephone bookings.
There's no issue with Wembley sending out digital tickets as I got my ticket for AFC Wimbledon's playoff final instantly.
There was also no booking fee at all for AFC Wimbledon's playoff final, so I assume this third party are taking the fiver we had to pay as well.0 -
They do. I go to the majority of England games and you buy your ticket months in advance and it only arrives in the days leading up to it. No idea why it's done this way tbhBigRedEvil said:Not received mine yet but I've never known to have to wait this long for buying tickets to get actual confirmation. It’s to try and stop people trying to sell them on I would assumefollett said:

It's probably because you don't actually need them until then!

Which is probably why L2 tickets are coming through quicker, much smaller secondary market. Orient had the same issues, it’s clearly linked to the L1 play off final and not the club making a hash of itNabySarr said:

Most cricket and concert tickets seem to operate in the same way, where the tickets aren't emailed out until near the event date, even if you've ordered and paid months earlier.follett said:

They do this to keep your brain switch on to permanent panic mode so that the only thing you think of is Charlton, its worked with me.
The one thing it has proved to me is how easy it is to get inside my head and mess with my brain. Its a fortunate that I have a job thats stress free, no real dead lines and no one relies on me to do anything.5 -
Which Block am I in again?1

What are the options for re issuing - I suspect there’s going to be a body of people whose tickets don’t land by the stated 48hrs (8pm tonight?) therefore what then is the process0

I don't think I could go wrong getting this local solicitor involved.fenlandaddick said:

There’s still 7hrs for them to get them out. I guess an email to the ticket office will be the next step.Jon_CAFC_ said:What are the options for re issuing - I suspect there’s going to be a body of people whose tickets don’t land by the stated 48hrs (8pm tonight?) therefore what then is the process0 -

I hope I am wrong, but I can see a lot of supporters not receiving tickets and in a late frenzied panic.1
