Museum lent them a few of our shirts so they could get the design as close as possible to the original.
I could tell you which other shirts they borrowed but I'd have to kill you9 -
Gah, hopefully they get more0

I can't see how they've made any money on these, set up costs for such small numbers can't be cheap4 -

Not a moan, genuinely gutted. That's my favourite top.
As @shine166 said, they will have 100s-1000s of that other toot rotting on the shelves.
I think they could have sold over a thousand of these before Wembley, missed chance.3 -
My guess is that they rushed out what could ASAP because of the final rather than planning such a limited run.
Our understanding was that the replicas were coming out in phases much later in the year.
My own view is that the ending of the Castore deal has buggered up what should have been a lucrative few weeks for the shop. The museum have been selling stuff like hot cakes but it was existing stock and we're a part time operation.
Ideally, Reebok would have stepped in, as in 1998, but for whatever reason that hasn't happened.10 -

Why did the club stop selling some of the ‘vintage’ shirts the other year?0
-
Well hopefully the club look at the success off of that Red Robins retro page and put some serious investment into retro kits.
If they start pumping out retro kits and special kits in general, I'll easily be spending 300-400 quid alone on shirts.
With this fanbase, based on here, twitter and insta, they'd quite literally be printing money. Especially at £40, very reasonable.14 -
Wish the club shop would do more retro shirts, the demand would be huge.3

Had to settle for 2XL. Would have liked a XL but it will do, time to put on more weight for Wembley.9
-
Sold out again0
-
XL popped up. I am one, very happy chunky man right now.
Is this what swifties feel like when they secure tickets. This is ecstacy9 -
