Yes this wasn’t a great idea of hers - but NINE years?

    Had an affair with an inmate, didn't disclose CCJs against her which is misconduct as it leaves her vulnerable to blackmail, didn't follow the correct procedure to get the inmate day release and kept a car that was a gift from the inmate paid for from the proceeds of drug dealing. Yeah, 9 years seems about right

    Not with a long sentence. Usually only applies to under 3 years.

    4 or under will be half normally, maybe a few months less if she qualifies for an electronic tag.

    Looks like if it’s not a half, it will be two thirds. The point being she won’t be serving nine years in prison.

    If she keeps her nose clean and does 6 years that still a long sentence IMHO

    It interesting that a job carrying the responsibility that a governor would have has a salary of 3k a month. If that's before tax there is no wonder the prison service has a staffing problem.

    Would it be lenient if the person committing abuse of power was a bloke? Seems lenient if anything
