Also flying in from Calgary with my eldest daughter (10), plus a drive down from Edmonton at the start. Making it a long weekend in London and planning some quality time with her to cushion the blow if we lose.
Which airline/day you flying Oakster?15 -
I'll be flying in from San Francisco, also for less than 48 hours!26

I'm in Spain for over a month and would fly back, but with it being bank-holiday weekend/ half-term, the flights back to Alicante on Sunday or Monday are ridiculously expensive.
My son will just have to go on his own!0 -

Arriving home from Sydney, Wednesday morning. Does that count?7

Bloody awkward for me. My son is going to try and get us tickets but it also drops one weekend before my daughters wedding. I will be flying to and fro from Faro twice in short succession with all the cost implications amongst all the other organisational stuff. The wife (a fooking Palarse fan) is already dropping the daughters wedding or football bombshells.
If I was about to marry, Charlton would have won, no questions asked, but my daughters wedding, that's something else..
And I thought the playoff semis were stressful.4 -
Flying in Tuesday from the SF Bay Area. 4 months for me this time. Selling my flat in Bromley so want to be around. So if anyone is up for a beer and a chat let me know. 😎6

I would've stayed for longer but i actually have family visiting here at that time, and 2 days after they arrive here, i'm flying to Heathrow.10 -

Arrived yesterday to look after the mother-in-law for a week (in Ringwood). Wife's brother and sister-in-law don't get back from their holiday until Sunday afternoon, so they have very kindly booked a carer to come in at 8 so we can shoot off to London (as long as we get tickets). We are staying at Premier Inn, Bexleyheath, if all goes well we should be there about 10.15. We have booked early check in, but if they won't let us check in really early, we'll just have to leave the cases in the car and book in after the game. TFL journey planner says we should be able to get to Wembley just before 12 if we can leave by 10.45... 🤞5

...I'm having to fly in from Manchester. The trains over the Bank Holiday are running slower services and take 4 hours direct, and I can't come down the day before, meaning I'd not get into London until just before 12. Not worth the risk of delays!6

There is a coach from Manchester Chorlton St to Golders Green that departs around 5am ish and is about £13, takes about 5 hours. Golders Green to Wembley is only a short hop then train it home?2 -
Yep, I’m on the slow train the day before and coming back on the Monday.0
