Hi Everyone, and welcome to a sold out Valley and an evening under the lights...
Here we are and second half is about to start of our play-off semi final, tonight we are back at The Valley after all that went on last Sunday and the 0-0 scoreline we came away with from Adams Park, having endured all the shenanigans dished up by Wycombe we now have home advantage, and time to put this lot to the sword, and show them what a real crowd and support looks like in the sold out Valley.
Our 1987 play-off heroes, including Lennie Lawrence, will be parading around the pitch from 7:15pm, they will then be followed at 7:35pm by Patrick Bauer,
who dramatically netted the winning goal in the 2018/19 play-off final, plus Jason Pearce and Chris Solly, so get to your seats nice and early.
Chuks is available again following a three-game suspension. Nathan said: "We’re glad to have Chuks back. We’ve had to suffer three games without him, but he gives us a headache because now he’s available and extremely motivated."
I will be expecting another strong line-up, but at the same time another heavy handed approach from Wycombe, so we will need to be on the go from the first to the last minute, Dean Whitestone will be the man in the middle tonight, let's hope he's on the ball, and doesn't fall for any more Wycombe shenanigans and play acting, given a fair go at playing our game we should prevail and get the win sorted, hopefully in 90 minutes🙏...
Come on Charlton make this a night to remember, and please no penalties..
Team news...
Thierry Small and Alex Gilbert will start tonight's play-off semi-final second leg game against Wycombe Wanderers as Nathan Jones makes two changes to his side from the first leg.

Following his three-game suspension, Chuks Aneke returns to the bench, as does fellow forward Daniel Kanu.

Make some noise for me!
COYR!!!
Small comes back into the eleven, with Aneke and Kanu in for Gilbert and Hylton on the bench
Wonder if he hadnt quite recovered from the Wycombe 0-4 win - Got no problem with Gilbert starting though, especially if we get the version of him that played against Burton
He's saved two penalties in his career, conceding eight
Also pleased to see Kanu on the bench.
