  • 7.15?  They definitely trying to get people in early to avoid congestion?
  • Keep out of spitting distance from Miller ! 😉
  • That’s good, although there’s a rather obvious absentee.
    Yes Garth Crooks……
  • Nice one, looking forward to this. I called Shirtliff but we've got everyone but, ha! I wonder if there'll be some '98 and '19 coming out for a later encore.

Worked well vs Huddersfield, having some legends coming out.
  • Bob Bolder paraded around the pitch during the Burton match!
  • Mr Shirtliff obviously didn't fancy a midweek trip down south.

  • Probably a stupid question and I am sure I know the answer, but, if I want to applaud these legends from my seat, can I take my beer ?
  • Walsh runs over it. It's now left for Peake.

    As if it were yesterday!
  • Probably if your still in the fans bar in the Covered End!
  • I’m off to YouTube now to watch it again!!

    Ooh it’s a good one

Not officially, but the stewards we employ there is always a good chance you can get the beer past them
  • Shirts said ‘stuff that’ when he found out my brother wasn’t going to be there obvs 🤣🤣

  • Feels too early to be effective
I never understand why they do these sort of presentations to the crowd when most people aren't there. Indeed the whole point of the Fanzone and the Fan's Bar is to get people to arrive early but NOT go to their seat.
Think this time the idea is to get you to your seat, especially with the fan zone and fans bar closing only 15 mins after

Think the fans who went to Birmingham should also be paraded - wonder how many of us are left or could prove we were there

And Elland Road blimy that was scary.
I was at both but somehow not at the home game. Was that a Sat afternoon ko  ?  I have memories of being out with then girlfriend & some work colleagues. Memory a bit hazy 38 years ago !

    That's surprising.

Mr Bolder always seems such a shy and retiring chap ...
  • Stupid planning it for 7.15pm.
I'll be surprised if there's 5,000 in their seats by then.
7.30pm earliest would have been more sensible and encourage fans to be in by then.
Depends what else they are planning if anything?
