    Sea of red anyone
I've worn my yellow away shirt to every game this season, not changing now.
Will you wash it after our last match?
Yes, and my lucky pants !!
  • Sea of red anyone
It’s almost like you want us to lose..!
WE JUST NEVER FUCKING LEARN DO WE?

Why not slap "Operation" in front and have the whole team bend over in the centre circle for Wycombe to do as they please with.

NEVER go the Palace route, no gimmicks!
So we'll put you down as a Maybe? ;)

interesting they say the highest attendance and not sell out. I think that's because we're hoping to sell those JS tickets
As in, make them available to Charlton fans? Bit
    late isn’t it?

Maybe we could call it Operation Sea Of Red and really make sure we lose…
    the Red Sea!
Operation Red Sea would probably be a good one, as we'd no doubt see our Defence part for the opposition

I think it's too late now for online sales since there'll no doubt be a raft of glitches and too much extra work. However on the day sales from the ticket office window (to known members?) could be more viable. Less can go wrong.

Ed Warwick said last week that if it was possible to make the JS available for home fans they will but it will be late in the day. I think they’d sell fairly quickly actually

Haha! Sorry, I was marking the rumoured deadline for Wycombe to sell or return tickets.

The tickets will surely be sold online.  Its only 10% of the original sale madness and just general sale (no season ticket shinnegans on the portal to manage), Wycombe gain from this also (due to pooled ticket revenue) so in their interest.

I think we'll get an announcement later today and they'll go on general sale from 11 tomorrow.

I suspect it's already been planned and they're just waiting for official confirmation on how many Wycombe have sold before announcing it.

Packed out home crowd Vs 33 Wycombe fans all arriving in the same midi-sized coach

Fully expecting a deafeningly quiet and torturous end to the evening, probably with poor old Chuks getting it in the neck from everyone with his final act missing a late chance to save the day

According to the Wycombe web site tickets are on sale for them all the way up to 12pm Thursday for the away end. I dont think we can confirm anything regarding home fans using the JS stand until then.

It will be a last minute thing if we do get to use it.

For me, just trundling out a Mendonca / Bauer / Curbs / Shirtliff (for the old timers) and the roof will completely lift off - no special effects needed.

If we have to do anything, and I would prefer we didn't, doing this would be a laugh.

it's all-square at half-time in the play-off semi-final battle with Charlton Athletic - now we need your support once again to roar the lads to victory in the second leg at The Valley on Thursday night (k.o. 8pm)!

Tickets in the away end for this game are guaranteed up until 4pm on Tuesday; after this point, a decision will be made whether or not to convert some of Wanderers' allocation into a home area.

Therefore we encourage fans to book fast to secure their place for what could be another historic and famous night in the club's history. There will be no on-the-day sales at The Valley, and we ask that fans collect their tickets from Adams Park in advance where possible.

Thank you to everyone who got behind the team in the first leg on Sunday; let's be even louder on Thursday night and seal our place at Wembley

The above is what Wycombe emailed out yesterday to everyone on their mailing list

We should tell them that any unsold ticket as at 4pm today and not notified as cancelled for sale to their fans from that point have to be paid for at the full adult price. That should help save them going to waste on Thursday night.

So tickets no longer on sale until Thursday. Their fans think it means the stand won’t split, I think it means they haven’t sold enough and it will split. Guess we wait on the club

The JS holds 3,469 so Id assume splitting it in two would mean around 2k Wycombe and 1.5k ish Charlton? Give or take tarping a chunk off to provide the partition.

That makes no sense from their fans. If we definitely won't split JS then they can have the original midday Thursday deadline.

Surely the now earlier confirmed deadline means we're seriously looking in to a split and putting last minute tickets on sale for our fans.

does anyone know what the clubs pre-match plans are and if flags will be given out etc and is the covered end Addicks flag the only one or will we bring back the flag which used to be in East Stand in Prem days, a friend sent me a video from his seat at WTH for recent match......to quote...
"Filmed this pre kickoff at Spurs for the 1st leg of the Europa League SF against Bodo Glimpt. Hope the Addicks give out flags for the game at the Valley v Wycombe, as it makes the game seem even more special and noisier !
    Up the Addicks !"

Probably giving out tops, will explain why there is none left in the shop.

Can anyone recommend a road to park on if I’m getting there around 4pm ish? Something I can stick in the sat nav?
Thanks to those who have suggested parking areas but I’m struggling to find where they are and where I can leave the car at that time, get some food and get away for a 4 hour drive home after the game.
There is no problem parking at 4pm in all the streets around the Valley, as its 2hrs free parking, stick it in any parking bay as restrictions end at 6.30pm. If you park at 4pm, there won't be any wardens walking around taking note of your car reg and coming back to see if you have exceeded 2hrs.
I'm arriving at 5.30pm with my son and we will park as close as possible to the Valley to meet 2 friends for a bite to eat and are planning to get into the ground by 7pm. I think it will be chaos at the turnstiles with the sell out crowd all with printed tickets & too few stewards etc and just want to enjoy the build up.
If you follow this advice and park in a 2 hour free bay, you MAY get a ticket, despite what TRA says.
To reassure you i park every match very close to the ground at 2pm and return at 5pm never had a ticket. Thursday night, there won't be an eagle eyed traffic warden who sees you park up at 4pm and returns between 6-6.30pm, these wardens aren't stupid they want an easy life and will avoid a huge football crowd. I imagine they knock off by 4.30pm as from there its 2hrs free parking till next day, if your worried just park up and stay in your car till 4.30pm and bingo no problem.

I got a ticket at the Burton game despite being covered by a visitor voucher in Charlton Lane. I've challenged it of course but it shows that there are wardens about.

I think their fans are wrong. If there was no plan to split it, then they'd be able to buy right up until the game.
