It’s allowed, but you can’t have two blocks of away fans and then home fans because it would require home and away fans to share entry and exit routes, which isn’t.fenaddick said:
Not doubting your knowledge here at all but I doubt he is talking from an ill informed position either. There’s 0 chance he, or the club, make those comments without having spoken to the relevant authorities. We’ve also seen away fans in the upper west within the last few years so clearly that is allowedAirman Brown said:
He’s not correct. Neither would the segregation in the upper west they described last night be allowed.fenaddick said:
Because (if Warwick is to be believed) we can’t segregate the JS if Wycombe sold 2,000, that’s where the whole discussion startedAirman Brown said:
How is it irrelevant? If home areas are sold out then there is no question you could sell out the extra seats in the JS Stand and as they are digital you could do it at any stage before the matchday. It would only be a risk if we were struggling to sell home areas.fenaddick said:
But it is a risk as the home demand is irrelevant in that scenario?Airman Brown said:
If the home demand is as strong as appears then that isn’t a risk. But we are where we are.fenaddick said:
I can see why they gave them the whole thing. It’s possible we could have given them 2k, they sell them out and we sell out the home end and then the club have to decide whether to release more away tickets when the home end is sold out or have an empty area on a TV game. Neither are great from a PR standpointAirman Brown said:
He referred to the rule, which as you say is 2,000. I think it was a mistake ever giving them 3,000 as it was unnecessary and he is now hiding that behind a claim about segregation which isn’t necessarily true based on previous evidence. Maybe what they sell will make it academic either way.fenaddick said:
To be fair he didn’t say the 2,000 that’s the EFL rule and he went on to say if we got tickets back we would probably open it up to home fans but it would be very late in the daystoneroses19 said:Obviously there's no problem segregating JS and we know it works. I presume Warrick mentioning 2000 away fans is key, and that if it was less away fans, it would be doable.Doncaster only brought about 1400 for the last semi final and we segregated. Maybe Wycombe made it clear they were expecting to sell 2000 and this has made splitting JS more difficult.0 -
4 tickets bought easily. Still fair amount of tickets about0

Can't buy without a coupon ID??

Genuine question here as I can’t remember, for the Brighton game was the west upper closed to home fans? Only way around that issue that I could seeAirman Brown said:

No doubt you would like a reciprocal arrangement when attending away games.CAFCTrev said:Ive said it before but Ive never like having away fans behind the goal. Ideally if we ever managed to 'finish' the Valley and have a complete closed bowel shape we could stick the away fans in a corner or on the end of a stand at the sides. But it is what is it is.2 -

You could seg the upper west down the middle, potentially, but why would you want to put circa 1,500 away fans in there, when the JS is much more practical?fenaddick said:

I have bought a single ticket, quickly and easily. No need for a coupon ID. Selected 'Print at Home' despite not owning a printer...don't understand the wallet thingamajig! Do I have to print it or can I just hold the barcode under the scanner at the turnstile?0

Most blocks are only singles available.
Advice to anyone wanting to take kids - look in the Family Stand blocks - loads of seats together in there, presumably due to the low take-up on a school night.0 -
Are we not selling the southern blocks of the east & west stands?Er_Be_Ab_Pl_Wo_Wo_Ch said:Before and After at curtain-up...
