It is difficult when you buy a crap ticketing systems off the shelf and have no-one understand / maintain it (as covered earlier in this thread). Hopefully we are on the way up now and we can start to put some proper back office staff in place to handle our growth.grumpyaddick said:Surely to God purchasing sports event tickets online isn't a new science. Why does this have to be so bloody painful?
Must be the same management team who organise the beer and refreshment sales at half time. An old adage about 'piss up' and 'brewery' comes so mind.
And where the hell is that red-trousered oleaginous creep when we need a suitable scapegoat?

Yes. Apparently the club want to try closing it next season when it’s only a small away following so our players can play in front of empty stand in our bid to be an ‘elite’ club.cantersaddick said:Haven't read the full thread - is someone able to clarify the situation with the JS Stand?2 -
Enlighten me then please (beyond trying to save a relatively modest sum on the occasions its deployed).redbuttle said:

Depends on the 1st leg result really. A 2 goal Wycombe win for example and they'll naturally shift a lot during the week. A 2 goal Charlton win and i expect they'll be returning half their tickets.Leeds_Addick said:
If they've only sold 1500 by Monday and we've sold out the home stands then surely we could reduce their allocation to 2000 as you wouldn't expect them to sell more than another 500? I guess that might require them to physically return the tickets we've sent them though.stoneroses19 said:
There tickets are on sale until midday on 15 May, so even if don't sell out, there's no chance remaining will be on sale for home fans with split stand.cantersaddick said:
Shame that. Do we think they will sell out?blackpool72 said:
Wycombe given the whole standcantersaddick said:Haven't read the full thread - is someone able to clarify the situation with the JS Stand?
If nothing else in 2019 having split the stand at that end impacted the decision of which end to have the pens due to safety considerations which benefited us.0 -
Aren't they considering putting the idea of putting home fans in there. Thought I read that somewhere.0

To throw a curveball out there. Ive had a season ticket this season, but I've moved for next season (already purchased). Do you think I can get my new seat too?
Edit. Just messing around, but it wouldn't surprise me if I could!5 -

When did you get up yours matey out of asking. Loads of us on here brought on Sunday @ 11.15 - Midday and we’re still waiting.DamoNorthStand said:Email come through finally with my tickets download link.... so took just over two days in the end. All sorted in the end.Cheers1 -
I have tried the polite email approach but am still waiting. The reply from the Duty Manager of Monday being a hopeful target does not give you much confidence. Like you I made my purchase around 1130-1145 on the Sunday and you do wonder how close to the wire we will get our tickets-meanwhile I have recieved two emails from the club about the mascots!Brown59 said:
I again spoke to the duty manager today on the phone( nice lady) was told the same as you to wait till Monday. I did say you told me Tuesday, then Wednesday and as the website now say’s Friday. She did say that Monday was a hopeful target. I think the ticket office is overwhelmed. My fear is that tickets will not get to people on time as every day it’s being pushed back. I did get my tickets on Sunday @ 11.30am so if it is Monday that will be over a week which is so poor. Not there fault I know but still not acceptable. Hopefully I’ll be at the game if they arrive.HRBryan said:
Very interesting as I am still in the same boat as you were-I got my ticket on Sunday-in that my was payment taken, got an order number and then nothing-no confirmation email or tickets. I contacted the office and they said on Monday to wait until Tuesday. I contacted them Tuesday and they told me to wait until Friday. Now I am being told to wait until next Monday (presumbly they are expecting loads of people to tell them on Friday they still haven't had their emails). Surely even our creaky software system has the ability to send the email with tickets within a relatively short period of time? In speaking to the ticket office they said that emails were slightly delayed but surely a week suggests a more major failing than that. I had thought just booking the ticket would be the harder part of the job rather than sending an email. Like you I have asked the ticket office if they could resend the email but sadly I have been told to wait until Monday. I am hoping on Monday it is not a case of "give it a few more days"!TelMc32 said:Hadn’t received my email/tickets, after buying our three season tickets on Sunday morning. Plenty of tickets for the North V South game …9

I bought three tickets yesterday on two separate transactions and one today and the ticket emails came through straight away.
Not boasting just letting others know.

Bought same time as you and came through just before I posted on here.... 4:30 or so. Shows that they are all filtering through now so its just a matter of time.Brown59 said:

19 available seats in WSP. Says they're press tickets but they're available.
Edit: Can't add them to the basket so idk1 -
You’d think if they were short staffed and under pressure and needed extra help they could just ask the fan base. I’m sure there are plenty who’d help out writing addresses on envelopes and sticking the tickets in etc to help alleviate the pressure whilst the staff dealt with other more pressing issues.HRBryan said:

Absolutely. Whilst I am pleased others seem to get their tickets through rapidly it has to be concerning that a reasonable number of those of us who ordered back on Sunday are still waiting and it seems we are expected to accept that we will get them at some point with staff referring to a Monday date as merely hopeful. You would have thought they would focus on those people whose emails are outstanding to clear the backlog first?LargeAddick said:

The emails will be an automatic thing which failed due to due volume. The reason some are getting them straight away is the automated system works again with less pressure. Presumably the ticket office now have thousands to manually send which is why it will take time2
-
I would assume the delay is because Sunday morning was when the system crashed so presumably a whole lot of e mails weren't delivered/sent.HRBryan said:

Mine is a @btinternet.com address and it allows me to get copious emails from the club (mascot packages, 'win cash prizes with matchday with Valley Gold Jackport prizes 'etc)-anything in fact it seems apart from Play Off tickets!LargeAddick said:
