If Stockport get to the final that will be a ballache for them, looks like they'll have to be heading out at 6am to get there on time, or come down the night before

However, should Aresnal or Spurs be at home that day the match will be switched to 8pm. And if Forest are at home it wont be played at all......as all their games take precedence 😀

Is it though? Is it really much of a hardness to make the way to Wembley for a 1pm kick off, as opposed to 3pm? Do we think the crowd will be significantly lower because of fans furious at the early kick off time?
What time might - say - Stockport fans manage to get home if they end up in a penalty shoot out?
On balance, I think I'd far prefer a 1pm kick off to a 3pm.

The earliest train for me from Leicestershire gets me to Wembley Central for 13:36, that includes the dreaded rail replacement bus because of course there's engineering work that weekend, so we'll have to travel the day before and book a hotel. If Stockport reach the final they're going to be in the same situation.

It's not tempting fate Large, it's just discussing kick off times and their merits or non merits, consensus seems to favor the latter in this instance I think...🤔
Agree with feeling uneasy about thinking about the final too early, and could easily come back to bite us…although I have booked hotel and train tickets already as I’m confident Stockport fans may want my train. 😬

The viewing figures for this on SKY have to be pony , most fans in the UK will be at Wembley for whoever gets there . Outside the few who can’t get there who’s gonna watch it , if we don’t get there I’m definitely not watching

I am perfectly Ok if KO times were permanently adjusted to reflect long term lifestyle changes - of the real fans -but that is manifestly not the reason for all this messing around caused by Sky.
Imagine if the opening hours of shops were subject to this level of meddling. Why should football fans be subject to it?

Don't blame Sky, blame the clubs who accept these deals for the money the TV companies pay them. And blame the players and managers, who enjoy salaries their 1991 counterparts can only dream of.
