Btw.... why do we only have 1800-odd?
Wasn't it said that there's a 2,000 tickets minimum?1 -
To be fair.... in a 6k stadium, we are getting a large chunk2
-
Bought 2 in 2 separate transactions and have only got the confirmation email for one of them. Showing in my history on my Charlton account so I assume it's fine0
-
How do you check how many loyalty points you have`?
0 -
Is there a way of checking your friends and family points?0
-
Yeah fair enough, I just overestimated us.Chris_from_Sidcup said:
How many people do you think regularly follow us away to get a points total close to that? We're Charlton, not Leeds.Braziliance said:Belv said:
You’re grossly overestimating the amount of people that fall into that category.Braziliance said:
I reckon if every person who had the 620 and had Valley Gold bought two, I'd miss out. Fortunately not enough people will.Belv said:Someone with 860 points will never, ever miss out on a ticket. The “Humdinger” applies throughout, what’s stopping you getting a second ticket in phase 2 for a mate who’s never been at the expense of someone who might miss out in phase 4?
Because I'm sensible and wouldn't do that. I'd only ever take one of my Charlton relatives or friends to a game who goes a significant amount of games. Which was my point, it should be assigned to a Charlton fan on the site.
Gents, 1848 allocation, we surely have 924 Charlton fans with 620 points and Valley gold? Be very surprised if we don't.Croydon said:Braziliance said:

No chance. Like absolutely zero. There's a reason the tiers are set at the level they are. It isn't guess work.
If we had 900+ fans with that many points then all our games would sell out and some of the aways with smaller allocations wouldn't even reach phase 2. Someone posted on here that the league game at Wycombe 2 weeks ago reached phase 5!0 -
2000 or 10% of stadium capacity. I think we have greater than 10%.Siv_in_Norfolk said:Btw.... why do we only have 1800-odd?

It's been explained 1754 times as to why its 2 tickets.se9addick said:
Yeah every time we have a high demand away match the debate always revolves around where Valley Gold should rank in the prioritisation. But for me it’s odder that everyone is allowed to buy two tickets from the off. Really it should be one ticket per person until later in the process.KingKinsella said:In L1 with most away teams having small grounds its a travelling "elite" or group of particularly dedicated fans who will get the tickets every time.
I managed to get to Leyton Orient away last season and Gillingham away FA cup, both were enough to make me glad to let others suffer for the cause.
If the opposition has a small away section of the ground I think it would be fair to restrict ticket sales to only the "points" holder.ie no mates who are not "points holders" themselves.
Maybe this happens already?4 -

"With limited tickets available for the game, the club will host a screening of the away leg at The Valley. Tickets for the screening will also go on sale at 11am on Monday, May 5th. Tickets will be priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions."
Where is the screening held, the fans bar?0 -

I missed it as to why the other 1754 times - given the agro at Birmingham and to a degree Wycombe and people standing / sitting wherever then it probably makes more sense to do it one per person/account and stated its open seating0 -
…and it appears, despite having hardly any fans and twice as many tickets, Wycombe are doing one per ticket per fan for the match at the Valley.Jon_CAFC_ said:clb74 said:

No, I think it’s one per season ticket holder with a maximum transaction of six tickets.hermann said:

We’ve barely worked out understanding our own ticket system yet, let’s not try and do wycombes as well24
-
Well finally our group has managed to get the 2 per eligible person they wanted.
Once the chrome issue was mentioned on here, my family rushed to help their poor IT illiterate grandparents and by 3pm there were smiles all round. Sadly, eldest grand daughter who helped won't be coming to the (foot) Ball as she's chained to her desk , revising 24/7 for her upcoming A levels, bless her....
But handfuls of hair & gnashed teeth are now littering our carpet ready for Mr F to deal with once he's prepared the dinner.
Moi ?
On my bed in a suitably darkened room with a bottle of Aldi's finest & a straw to keep me company.
( Anyone know if there's been an announcement of some kind to advise fans re the chrome issue ? Or are we Lifers fortunate to have each others' backs in times like these ?)7 -
Just got 2 away tickets, for the first time I can remember in a seriously long time my 590 loyalty points exceeded Valley Gold qualification.
Somehow I managed to stay logged on to the ticket website since purchasing home tickets yesterday so didn't need to join a queue again today. Just used MS Edge browser and left the tab open. No issues here obtaining tickets for either leg apart from a short queue yesterday morning for home tickets.0 -
Has anybody buying online been given the option for collecting from away ground? Only got the option of post or collect from the valley. Certainly don't have faith in our post for them to arrive in time and don't really want to make a special trip to the valley just to collect tickets0
-
Just select post and if they don’t arrive in time you’ll be able to arrange collection from Wycombe. I’m guessing the club don’t want to allow the option to collect from Wycombe to avoid big queues on the day and instead only have those that the post failed queueingcambs_addick said:Has anybody buying online been given the option for collecting from away ground? In fairness to them, the Wycombe ticket staff were sound when I’d realised half way down the bloody hill that I’d forgotten my tickets they te printed them no problemNabySarr said:
