    Hoping for 2 tickets in Phase 5. I've got fingers, toes and any other body part that can be crossed, crossed! And that goes for Mrs Oz too! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

    How much more priority do they want?
    If the game sells out before then, no arguments in my eyes.
    I'm phase 5.
    At the end of the day if you want to be guaranteed a ticket for these games.
    Have a season ticket for the  2 seasons and do an average of 12 away games in the 2 seasons.

    People get allocated loyalty points for the home & away games they purchase tickets for. The more games they buy tickets for, the more points they get. Those points are then used to determine priority for high demand matches such as this.

    They didn’t say in the website article. I don’t think it was tons of tickets available for the Wrexham beam back so will probably be similar to this. 
    It’s not a beam back. 

    It is them putting the telly on 
    I know, but it’s described by the club as a “beam back”, and it was also described by the person I was answering as a beam back.

    I should have said in my original post if someone had joined VG to jump the queue without having a ST or not a large amount of away games. I do feel the point at which VG kicks in is too high.

    We have three Valley Gold membships and have had them for tears. I think we might have paid more in than some season ticket holders and we go to quite a few games too

    Your account will show how many points have been accumulated 10 for away, 5 points home.

    But makes absolutely zero difference most weeks. Wycombe away got all the way to phase 8 apparently earlier in the season, which is 100 points. Best option would be to go halves on it with a friend for £60 each and not have to complain once every few years if we have a run of success.

    Went to the last game so will miss this one out. Having to stay over for the second leg due to not sure whether public transport will get me home. Strange time for the first leg seeing that there are limitations on public transport on Sundays. Yes i recognise its not a million miles away but we all don't live in London.

    Good luck to those going and hope for the same result and were still in it for the second leg.

    6:30pm on a Sunday is a really weird time for a match. I assume it’s timed so that Sky can show it straight after the 4:30pm game from the Premier League but still.

    Was that when their fans ran onto the pitch, rushed towards the Charlton fans but the local police decided that it was the Charlton fans that needed to be peppered sprayed?

    yep about 5 maybe ran towards charlton fans celebrating and the 4 stewards and invisible wall kept us apart

    Think it’s 10 points for a home league game and 5 points for cup games, either home or away.

    This. I have VG and had a season ticket for years. Very rarely do I get to away games as need to balance family life with football. Those that go home and away rightly get priority over me for a ticket.  

    Good chance I will be watching at home and hoping for a cracking night at The Valley next week!

    I've said it before, the fact I'm on 860 loyalty points and not in phase 1 is ridiculous. 

    That's 400 loyalty points from aways and if we had a smaller allocation I could potentially miss out. There's no way Valley Gold should trump 18+ aways. That's over £400 roughly just on the tickets. 

    The real humdinger is that someone with VG and 620 points, could buy a ticket for someone who has never been to a Charlton game. I don't necessarily mind when it's for an actual Charlton fan, but it should have to be assigned to a Charlton fan with a reasonable amount of points at least.

    I should be ok, my point is, Valley gold is heavily overrated as a priority for away ticket buys by the club.

    It's been far more expensive getting those points than it would have been to get Valley Gold. 

    Not that I go to aways just to get my points balance up, just feel they need to look at it a bit more. 

    As things stand someone who has done 16 aways out of a possible 46+ in two seasons is top of the pile.
