Still can’t win four in a row.

Today at about 4:30 I thought it was finally the moment where we’d win four league games on the bounce for the first time since October 2020 but it wasn’t to be.

Since then we’ve won three in a row a handful of times but never four.

Jan 25: Bolton, Shrewsbury, Bristol R -> Blackpool
Dec 24: Northampton, Cambridge, Wycombe -> Reading
Aug 24: Wigan, Orient, Bolton -> Reading
Jan 23: Portsmouth, Lincoln, Barnsley -> Bolton
Aug 22: Exeter, Portsmouth, Shrewsbury -> MK Dons
Mar 22: Gillingham, Burton, Doncaster -> Lincoln
Jan/Feb 22: Fleetwood, Portsmouth, Wimbledon -> Bolton

October 2020: Wigan, Blackpool, Northampton, Oxford, Portsmouth, Fleetwood -> Gillingham

    So, the player with the red counters has dropped in 18 counters to the 14 the player with the orange ones has dropped in; and

    after 4 red counters in a row was achieved (bottom left hand corner, diagonally, up to the right), the player with the orange counter still dropped another one into the 4th column.

    Not really... Draw with Burton, finish 4th, and then win the next three

    Or draw the away Semi-Final Leg and then win the last two :)

    My point was more that we dont need to win four in a row between now and the end of the season

    I can see NJ in the second leg of the playoffs telling our players to concede an equaliser at the end ( when we're well ahead on aggregate) to make sure we don't arrive at Wembley on a run of 3 consecutive wins...
