Chuks (p.61 - Released)

I see your Chuks and raise you an ahadme0
-
That's the end of Chuks' Charlton career. So stupid, when we have so much to play for in the rest of the season. Personally, I don't think this weakens us - Mbick, Hylton and Ahadme are all more mobile than him6
-
4-0 up and does that..edited maybe he didn't do much want to see it properly just walk away though.1
-
Idiotic thing to do.2
-
What did he do? The TV camera missed it.CharltonKerry said:Idiotic thing to do.1 -
Seems none of the cameras caught it - think some people are being outraged for the sake of it.0
-
TV evidence suggested the Wycombe player was the instigator of it all8
-
Madness. Why get involved? Be a three match ban won't it?0
-
One way of keeping yourself fit for the key play-off games, I guess.13
-
Considering we were:
4-0 up, and he...
only plays a short number of minutes
was defending our box
lacked the pace against some cloggers when put through (equalling frustration perhaps?)
knows the playoffs are guaranteed
What was the point in getting involved with a 2 armed push, rather than be aware that your team needs you as you are down to your 7th/8th forward. Sort him out after the game if you really fancy (as yes he did offer a sly knee).

Still back in time to score the winner at Wembley2

Shouldn’t have got involved, so the maker of his own downfall - but also never a red card.
Looks like they both had handbags, and then the Wycombe player walked into Chuks and fell to the ground as the camera was panning away.Maybe another angle will show Chuks headbutted him or hand his hands up - but all looked innocuous to me.5 -
It’s all part of the plan!BigRedEvil said:Still back in time to score the winner at Wembley0 -
Just seen a longer clip of the incident. Leary literally runs into Chuks' chest, Chuks at that moment has his arms both out wide and Leary goes over as if he's been sniped.9
-
I've seen a better angle now and there's no way he's getting that overturned. Clobbered the guy as he tried to run past him. That might be his third red for us, which is insane. Might be his last act as a Charlton player which would be a shame.10
-
With Wrexham being our next game there's no chance of the league overturning it.7

Really? Doubt we’ll see him in the squad again. I wouldn’t trust him.se9addick said:

Give him a new contract. Get him involved in coaching.
Or just say thanks for the memories and goodbye.0 -

I haven't seen it clearly but always look at the players reaction to the red card and didn't see much complaining to the ref from Chuks.4
-
Did he punch or headbutt him ?0
-
Literally unplayable.7

4-0 up, near the end of the game. No point even getting involved in tussling/pushing at that stage of the game. Regardless of if it's a red or not.6
-
I just caught it before the camera moved. He definitely looked like the aggressor and as you say it looked like a clatterGarrymanilow said:I've seen a better angle now and there's no way he's getting that overturned. Interesting. So Chuks didn't push him with any force while he had his arms both out wide? Maybe that's why they both ended up on the floor.Dazzler21 said:Just seen a longer clip of the incident.
