Surprised Jones got MOTM ahead of Berry and Godden.
Shouldn't it be Godden with the assist for the 1st goal as it was his cross which then came back off a Northampton player to Berry?0 -

By the way, I suggest this every year but I think we should club together for a Lancashire Lad trophy, maybe we could name it after Lancashire lass and have it presented to a player with the highest average every year. Maybe have a rule that 25 games have to be played for the points to count. What do people think?4 -

Your stats are always interesting and are much appreciated. Don't be discouraged by criticism which is totally unwarranted2

Don't think it's criticism so much as people pointing out the odd error or omission. Its not surprising as there is a lot of data to compile - 92 sets of data to add to the stats then total up all the balances and look at other teams, update tables, etc. It's a hell of a lot of work and, I suspect, all done manually - so will always be error prone whoever does it. thanks for the kind words. I'm a bit low at the moment but the stats will continue, errors and all. I do not take the corrections as criticism in fact I welcome them as without them the stats would remain wrong. So please continue to correct me and rest assured I will continue stating (is that a word in this context?)12

Must admit, I couldn’t recall which cups Godden again got his 3 goals in so had to look them up. Two were in the FA Cup.
