Have we really gotten to the point where we are trying to come up with songs for someone who has played a total of 11 minutes for us in the League.  Can we at least wait until he has played a few times

He did get a very nice rendition of “he’s one of our own” yesterday and a nice moment in front of the fans. Hopefully many more of those moments to come

    It's a bit of fun, that's all.

He will, barring injuries, play a lot more for us IMHO

it would be a lovely sceanario if campbell, mbick and kanu could all make it for us and form a devastating home grown front 3 for us in a higher division!

Is there anyone on this planet who actually knows how the verse to MMMbop goes? I thought it was just them saying MMMBop over and over for 3 minutes

Is Enslin our best hope of a midfielder coming through after anderson?

    I'd say so.

Kedwell hasn't made that breakthrough, not yet anyway.

You could include Zak Mitchell as a CDM but I think he's more of a CB.

    AMB

    Asiimwe Mitchell Hunter Laqeretabua

    Enslin Anderson Kedwell

    Kanu Leaburn Campbell

    Sub:  M'Bick, Casey, Bower

    Could be a homegrown squad

I'd say he's next in line, but he may end up covering/challenging Edwards at LWB more than the CMs. Very versatile which will only help him.

Mwamba and Fullah are also promising but are younger so I think they'll be a bit further behind. Mwamba's an Anderson/Cousins type, box to box with a good engine, Fullah more creative and attacking.

Kedwell's a reliable DM at u21 level and Huke a goalscoring midfielder, but being a bit older and not knocking on the door for the first team I'm not sure if they'll still be here next season.

Wales has been getting more game at u21 level in the last few months, but I think he'll need to progress physically and/or get in a place where his goalscoring and creativity is too good to ignore. Same age as Mwamba and Fullah, so he has time to try to make that progress.

Watch out for Jack Belton coming through - he styles himself on Conor Coventry and is not only an excellent player from what I’ve seen but also a mature and self-aware leader. Reminded me a lot of Zach Mitchell in terms of composure and ambition on recent CAST Q&A. Younger but already older than Jonjo when he broke through.

It's going to be interesting to see how the u21 squad shapes up when the released list comes out and when we hear of more u18s signing pro. Sol-Loza was the first of the that age group but I'm sure he won't be the last.

    Micah Mbick,
    He plays for Charlton Athletic,
    He’s massive, he’s strong, he’s electric,
And he’s scoring the goals against you.

And yes I had stupidly omitted Leaburn from this…

which appears a bit more compelling, as I fear Kanu won’t make it to the level we need him

Cameroon I assume, the OS shows he's English/Cameroonian/French.

Like a biro, surely? Come to think of it, I'd go with "huge and quick" as it's his size rather than his speed that first struck me.

How long is he under contract for? The article at the start gave no contract length.

Surely that'd be better for a defender, and Mbick doesn't have enough syllables? Kayne Ramsay would fit though.
