Hopefully TC is fit. If not, what to do? Certainly not Dixon for me. A good prospect but nowhere near ready, still giving the impression of a little boy in a man's game. I do wonder whether pushing Thiery further up the pitch maybe a possibilty (risky?). Otherwise Ahadme if fit, with Chucks second half and finally Dixon pressing against tired legs.
Only 5 games left, with 2 games, both away to Wycombe and Wrexham still to come.
In order to finish 3rd or 4th, it is imperative we get the points in the bag before we play Wycombe and Wrexham.
If we slip up against Cambridge and Northampton, there is every chance we get nothing from the Wycombe and Wrexham matches and end up finishing 5th, 6th, or even out of the play off places altogether in 7th place.
Hopefully Nathan has learnt a valuable lesson from the Lincoln game.
But it vital that we go all out to get a win today. Because points dropped today, may prove to very costly come the end of the season.
I agree. Without being in any way defeatist, today is our best chance of putting points on the board in our final 3 away games. A win would also almost seal our spot in the play-offs.
If we’re serious about winning the play offs we need to win this, hopefully convincingly. With luck, TC and LJ will return to the squad. I don’t hold with resting our best players, saving them for the play offs, and then we stumble at this stage by losing or drawing to the likes of Cambridge and Northampton.
Not an easy game and we all know the Harris effect. But Cambridge are doomed and this might be the one that tips them down to the abyss. Not pretty, we will not play well but 1-0 to the mighty Addicks.
