Can anyone please help to jog my memory? My dear old Mum hated football and my Dad only ever persuaded her to go to one Charlton match. It was a friendly and would’ve been in the early 1960s. I seem to recollect it was against Spartak Moscow but can find no mention of it on the Internet. Did this match happen or did I imagine it? Was it another team ? Thanks in advance.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a programme for this match, possibly on eBay or perhaps at the museum0

Looking at that programme, that East Terrace looked rammed, takes me back a bit that picture, when you could watch from the South stand one half and swap with The Covered End second half, whichever way we were kicking, and a whole tanner for a programme, what a wonderful thing memories are eh...🙄

I'm sure my grandson doesn't believe me that you could change ends at half time for the end you were attacking.eastterrace6168 said:Looking at that program, that East Terrace looked rammed, takes me back a bit that picture, when you could watch from the South stand one half and swap with The Covered End second half, whichever way we were kicking, and a whole tanner for a program, what a wonderful thing memories are eh...🙄1
