Can I place a bet in London on a horse that’s racing in the USA? If so, how?

    Online or you can go in the bookies. Just speak to the cashier.

    @bobmunro is your man. Since "retiring" he's set up his own little hush hush bookie operation, all on the QT for those in the know.

    Just tell him I sent you his way and all will be good. Keep it quiet though, he doesn't want everyone to know because he isn't telling the taxman, or the gambling commission. ;-)

    Not had a bet on the horses since pre on-line days. 
    Thanks for the info. I won’t pass on the horse’s name as it’s unlikely to win.

    Two horses at Aintree today, one sharing a name with a good friend the other including the name of the road I live in. First was at 3.25, the second at 23s. Oh look, I though to myself, and moved on. Both the bloody things won

    Straker led at one point but the other horses started to run faster. Straker came 6th (I think). Not bad for first time out. Straker races again in 4 weeks time.
