Why don't Charlton get more involved in this?
Many clubs are taking part in Green Football’s Great Save by offering donation points, making it simple for fans to donate old kits and stop them ending up in landfill. Charlton don't do this. Why not?
Charlton Athletic Women are 59th on the overall green football league table. The men's team have zero points. Here's the League One top of the table:
I just got us up to 8th place on 4 points by ticking the things I do: League One table
Some ideas are going veggy or vegan, car sharing, ridng a bike or walking for short distances. Go to the make a pledge section to get us up the table, but be honest.

Northampton do seem to make an admirable effort. I kept seeing their name come up in the Hedgehog Cup then Wolves eventually beat them to be the land's most hedgehog friendly club

Gestures and advice like in there are so small and easy to transmit (the big screen for those not clicking), then so impactful.1 -

Then it wouldnt let me submit what i was claiming to already do (by clicking 'take shot' (??!) unless i gave consent to use my email for their marketing purposes.
Would have hoped for better by whoever is behind this. Bristol City have earned credit in 'going green', but this seems unrelated. If I'm mistaken I apologise but this does not seem well to have been thought through.1 -
Found the 'about' section on the website.

Focus is on kit usage it seems, among other greening concerns. That's great but I don't own a football shirt as I'm already conscious about not buying an excess of products, especially over priced ones. Maybe I'm just not the target audience.1 -

Aren’t we already the ‘most cohesive, sustainable community-driven club competing at elite level’ ? 😉😆3

This ought to be outlawed, at least by the league authorities if not the government- Wrexham to High Wycombe by private jet a couple of weeks ago;
Wrexham criticised for flying to away match

Maybe Charlton should just go out of business to save the planet?1

Why should flying to a game be outlawed?
It's not the responsibility of the government to micromanage how people or businesses move around.6 -

Back to my question though, how does questioning such choices, lead to CAFC going out of buisness ?0 -

Do Charlton use the train for away games? Do they use electric coaches? Do fans not use petrol/diesel to get to games?0 -
'In the same month, the club's co-owner, actor Ryan Reynolds, pledged to the United Nations to "engage with and advocate" for sustainable goals aimed at making the sport more environmentally friendly.'
Just incase you didn't read the article.0 -
No I didn't but that explains a lot, thanks.0
