  • I agree Dansk _Red. One of the best things the club have done for the fans in recent years so big thanks to Tracey for her part in this.

Here is my annual rant,to any one who thinks it cant possiblly happen to me.Well,it can,as I found out a few years back when I had the test at the Valley.I guarantee out of the 500 slots 5-10% will get the dreaded red letter, and many more the not so serious orange. This test can save your life,I was lucky very early stages, and now hopefully cured,so dont ponce about get it done.

I've been guilty of not having mine checked before (I'm 56). Had it done last week as part of an annual check up and thankfully my PSA level was less than 1. I'll make sure I'll get mine checked regularly now, the earlier you catch it the better. A guy at work was feeling a bit run down last year, when his prostate was checked, he was diagnosed with cancer. They caught it early and he's well on the way to recovery now. As people say, it could happen to any of us.

100% this. Challenge now is to ensure the NHS has the resources it needs to deal with the increased number of referrals.

Just a reminder, there are still roughly 100 slots left, for those of you who were thinking about booking a test but hadn't got round to it yet:
Also, Charlotte Richardson off CharltonTV is also running the half marathon along with Tracey, so if any of you would like to sponsor her, her donation page is here:

Anyone who has booked a PSA test will have their test moved forward by two hours and 30 minutes following the change in kick-off time. For example, someone whose test was initially scheduled for 2.30pm will have a new time for the test of 12pm.

If a rescheduled time isn’t suitable, please contact the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust on 01926 419959 to cancel your appointment.

Where am I going to find a pub after my appointment at 9:45?

Might just get a home kit.

Does Sky care about fans health screening, this should be highlighted on local media, the testing has been in place for over 2 months, surely Sky could have found a different game.

How would Sky know and as you say they wouldn't care.

Even if they did, which I doubt, the club have no say in it.  Sky pay the money and the clubs dance to their tune.

Sky could, if they wished, make the testing a feature of the build up to the game and make a donation to the costs.

I won't hold my breath on either happening but especially the latter.

It's not Sky's fault anyway. It's the 72 EFL clubs which signed up to this TV deal, which enabled Sky to shift games like this.

While the time change is annoying for us, it's also really irritating for the medical staff, now having to now get there 2.5 hours earlier

Only 5 slots left apparently, so if you've not already booked in, I'd get a shift on
