    If people thought our pitch looked dodgy , Colchesters tonight looks like a park pitch and that might be unkind to park pitches.

    Not sure , they've had pitch issues basically since they moved from Layer Road but this season looks especially dreadful.

    Very meh performances from Wrexham and Wycombe, I mean we just played a Play-Off rival and managed to score four times - They've not been able to achieve that

    Bolton and Huddersfield losing today makes it an excellent day. I have never given us a chance of second so it is all about building a gap to 7th to allow us a couple of blips or to rest some players a little to keep them fresh.

    We’re Charlton Athletic, we’re good enough to not need to rely upon anyone else but ourselves; and we’re not looking to build a gap to 7th place, we’re building momentum until the very final whistle on this season, wherever and whenever that may be.

    obviously if the other teams drop points along the way we’ll take that.
