He had a very raw playing style but always gave the team a lift with his pace and energy. From memory he was unlucky with injury, especially when we went down to the Championship and got injured when he was in really good form.AddicksAddict said:

Matt and JJ's parents would come over for games every now and then and would book them on the CASC coach for away games. JJ also took time out to meet up at the first ever meeting of Swedish Addicks. A lot of the clientele at a very swanky restaurant in Stockholm looked very bemused when he walked out of there towards a bunch of people in Charlton shirts8

Let's not forget the Nordic boys played in the Premier not the mediocre 3rd tier so were against higher class opposition.
