Certainly not a fan of the SMT1 -

My suspicion has been that he was never meant to last as long as he did but he was too popular/a preferred candidate wasn’t available0 -
Next Wycombe manager?0

Im sure he will prefer walking around leafy Wycombe rather than getting all that sand in his boots.0

What was the name of that infamous establishment in Wycombe? Reckon Deano will be popping in on matchdays and putting a few quid behind the bar?0

Obvious appointment IMHO, plays good football and knows how to get a side promoted.1 -
Can't see him pitching up at Wycombe.0

Find this seriously odd, surely he could have found a job in non league or league 2 which would give him the chance to work up. Really seems like it’s a money thing more than anything3

He seemed to of got out of Al Ettifaq at the right time.
Maybe he got the job via LinkedIn (he seems pretty active on it).0 - Sponsored links:

As much as I thought Dean Holden as a person was a really decent bloke, his career since he left us has highlighted he shouldn’t have got anywhere near the job for us. The history and size of our club was well beyond him and his capabilities and shows how far we’d/we have fallen

The new manager Mustafa Alper Avci is Turkish but was at the City academy, bringing Lovelady with him.0 -

Is the article talking about himself or Slippy G? Cos either way it's absolute bollocks, neither of them are anywhere near being "one of England's best young managers"1

I’m glad. Assistant is perfect for him just like Chris Powell.1

A lovely bloke . I only wish the best for him . I will never forget the personal video message I received from him when I was in hospital recovering from a major cancer operation.38
