England v Latvia - Spare ticket

I've ended up with a spare ticket for the Latvia match tomorrow night, if anyone would like it?

The ticket is £20 due to having a slightly obsturcted view, but as you can see from the pic below - it's really not that bad.

Didn't realise the rake was so steep at Wembley!

This from half way up the top tier
  • Do you still have the ticket?
  • Ticket has been snapped up
  • I also have a spare ticket to get rid of for tomorrow night.

Face value is £25 but happy to give it away for nothing on the understanding that taking the ticket is committing to use it (England Supporters Travel Club member - need ticket to be scanned at the turnstile in order to get my loyalty points). I've got a touch of man flu, so not keen on the idea of schlepping across London.

It's in Block 124, Row 7, which I believe is bottom tier, roughly level with 18 yard line, quite close to the pitch.

Collection from Lewisham area, can hand it over at any train station in the vicinity - Lewisham, St Johns, New Cross, Deptford, Ladywell, or somewhere else of your choosing.

    DM if interested.

Hope it gets used, f****** s*** that points are not given if a game is not attended.  Effectively you have flushed the money down the toilet all ways.
Unforseen last minute circumstances count for nothing.
  • Unforeseen circumstances is one thing, but there are way too many people who cheat the England caps system every international break and hardly ever go to a home game.

Should be set up so that the ticket is on your phone, and once it’s scanned you get the points. If it isn’t then you don’t.

It's fine, really. There are too many 'cap cheats' - getting tickets for the cap with no intention of going, or intending to let someone else go and retain the cap as long as scanned. I've never done the latter, honest mister! You've never retained the cap if the ticket isn't scanned.

The England Supporters Travel Club are clamping down and will be randomly asking people with ESTC tickets to present at a point in the stadium to check identity.

Your dream will come true when they put all tickets on that app thing in the near future.
  • Bump. Ticket is still available.

Who got sacked after the match?  The bloke who painted the football pitch lines, or the bloke who put the rugby posts up?

They could surely do it now if they wanted? It’s Wembley Stadium - so it can’t be a case where they need to drastically update anything technologically.

Maybe The FA realise they’d lose about 20% of their travel club money from cap cheats if they actually did something about it.

Unless you're Warwick Davis, how on earth is that an obstructed view?!

I'm sure I read that they were trialing it on Friday night, so works similar to how it did for the Euros where the ticket appears on the app a day or two before game and then QR code appears a couple of hours before KO.

They were trialing the email alert not less than 24 hours before kick off. If you got an email you had to report to a certain point and show photo ID matching the ticket.

The Euros system was brilliant - we went to the first two group games and the final and it was effortless.

Agreed, I went to all but the final group game and the only time I had an issue was for the R16 game when the QR didn't appear, just went to the turnstile and someone there manually activated the ticket and the QR code appeared instantly. Couldn't fault it.
  • Bump. Still available for no money, if anyone wants to save thousands of Londoners from being coughed on on the Jubilee Line tonight!

Does anyone want the England Latvia ticket that I bought from Tim  B)

Parking at Wembley was a lot more than I expected, and I don't want to leave my car on a random street.

Edit: sold, this ticket has no loyalty, the dirty thing
