i agree with this, he has all the skills, engine, physicality and commitment but isn't yet consistent in bringing all his skills into play. If it all clicks he's on 🔥MuttleyCAFC said:Anderson is not yet the finished article but personally I am quite excited when I see his game. I think he can go to the top.

I think we saw off some quite big interest (Man United I believe) to even sign him as a pro. Karoy will be on a lot of clubs radars and will have been for a few seasons.4 -
Done well there mate, nice all round coverage captured excellently mate, and the atmosphere sounded wonderful...singing was..ok...😉Braziliance said:Vlog up and running for this one.

Thanks Brazilliance. Always enjoy your videos. Must have sat right by you at Stockport but didnt see you. Can you bring back your five questions for a fiver. Always made me laugh.2

There were a few rubbish decisions by the officials in the second half down our end. A couple of corners we should have, while right at the end a throw in was given as a goal kick!1

Seen this a couple of times. Gillesphey’s ball is actually played behind Gilbert’s run, but Gilbert drags it into the path of Small.soapboxsam said:eastterrace6168 said:

Certainly fortuitous that Gilbert missed the ball but he took up some good positions in the game and came close to scoring on several occasions.
Not entirely sure how much he knew of what was behind him, but it’s an intentional touch. If he hadn’t made contact, Small would have had to go away from goal to fetch the ball.4 -
Sorry but he’s barely League One standard in my opinion. Would love to be proved wrong.MarcusH26 said:MuttleyCAFC said:

I noticed during the game on the Sky stream there were some very good behind the goal 'shots'. I imagine the Crawley H&S department took a night off though.ArmchairAddick said:

I think you have to look at young developing players differently. You have to look at trajectories and aspects of their game that will get better. Some seem to just judge them in the same way as established players. What I see in Anderson is a one touch passer, a great engine, excellent ball winning, great in the air and pace with the ball. I'd get him on the same regime TC was clearly on in the summer.wmcf123 said:

Very good again, but please NEVER put footage up again of the Gillingham FA Cup game - I’ve had to arrange an urgent meeting with my therapist because of the awful memories it provoked 😉Braziliance said:Vlog up and running for this one.

Always interesting reading the range of opinions on players, especially the younger ones who may improve, stay at this level or drop down the leagues.
With his energy and other strengths I can see Anderson comfortably playing in this division and hopefully at least the Championship if he can find consistency.
By his age I think he’d need to have shown more technical ability to play at a top club, but I can see why some see Prem potential in him. He’s got a great engine, is mobile and decent in the air, and it’s not a stretch that he could add more strength to that. If he does then physically he’ll have a bit of everything.Combine that with consistency to tidy up the technical side and his decision making, reading of the game, positioning etc which comes with experience he could become a really reliable player.
Playing deeper definitely suits him better, and if that’s alongside a player like Coventry he’ll still have freedom to play more box to box, breaking forward or joining a high press, which should get the best out of him.
I don’t think Docherty has completely nailed down that box to box role, and if we get promoted then that only becomes an even bigger question. This run in could be a great opportunity for Anderson to step up before the summer when signings start coming in.13 -
I agree with you on Anderson’s potential, and I think he has improved this season. But I do think Docherty has nailed down that role for this season, his performance level is just more consistent than Anderson (which is understandable because he’s still very young)Scoham said:Always interesting reading the range of opinions on players, especially the younger ones who may improve, stay at this level or drop down the leagues.

Can only apologise about the strangled cat type chanting. Got a bit of a cold and can't sing anyway on the best of days. Just trying to do my bit 😂
Agreed. Last season it was all doom and gloom and people not too keen to talk, now people seem far more up for talking. People are even asking me to go on before I ask them which is nice 😂Addick_and_Chips said:

I will next game, I forgot about it tbh haha. I think cause no one was winning I started to feel bad.
I know but it had to be done as it was a very rare recurring visit on the vlog and I wanted to give Nick and John a bit of back story 😂Lordflashheart said:

To be fair if I do that again for most games this season, it will probably be looking back at a loss or draw.
That Gillingham game seems so far away now. Completely different team.1 -

I’d expect higher league scouts to be monitoring anyone aged under 22/23 who plays fairly regularly or more at this level, especially clubs like Brighton and Brentford.MuttleyCAFC said:

Yeah I'd say that's probably true! Was talk when they had the Turkish owners that they were going to move out to Ifield and build a new ground but that obviously never happened.0 -

I'd expect the likes of Leaburn,Anderson, Kanu and TC to have been on bigger clubs radars since U18 level. All the Prem sides will know all about the players we produce and it will be interesting to see what transpires in the summer.1 -
Maybe half joking but NJ didn’t seem to think so, he said Docherty missing the game could be to his detriment.NabySarr said:

He’s definitely more consistent than Anderson, but he’s not performed to the level of Ramsay, Coventry and Jones, who will generally always be picked if fit.0 -

Need the Covered End Massive to come up with a song about high fives, Costa coffee and Bluewater.
Maybe
"Nathan Jones is having a Party,
Cant high five or have a Latte"

Maybe if we are all over an opponent:sam3110 said:Need the Covered End Massive to come up with a song about high fives, Costa coffee and Bluewater.
Maybe

"Bluewater Costa,
Bluewater Costa,
You've spent too long,
In Bluewater Costa"
EDIT: Maybe replace Bluewater with whatever town they are0 -
To the tune of teh Jorge Costa song:
No Costa, woahoh,
No Costa, woahoh,
The squad wanted to go
But Nathan said no no
To the tune of Winter Wonderland:
Down in Kent, is Bluewater
Full of shops, food, and Costa
But the WAGs shop alone
While the players stay home
Nathan's taking Charlton all the way!
