The ref was consistent 🤔
He was a throw back to the 1960/70 when you could wrestle or make a heavy challenge and not be called for a foul.
The Arm wrestle match against Stockport was akin to Aussie Rules without the handballs ! A hands on contest where the ball hardly mattered.
Excellent point and great defending by both sides but the attacking play by two teams in the top 6 was poor.
Macca and Jones were excellent at the heart of the battle and were my top 2 followed by Mannion.
Ramsey had a strong game but did get done twice but had the ability to recovery and clear the danger.

Yes, and Stockport's best players were defenders as well so we ended up with a stalemate as both teams negated each other and more players hitting the deck since I last watched the keystone cops.1 -
