Huddersfield last 5 games, on a dreadful run.

    4 losses and 1 win.
I'm sure I can predict where their next win will come from 🙄

Wycombe’s draw means the gap to 2nd doesn’t get any bigger.

Would have taken those results before the day started

As you were really from the start of the day, no further away from top 2 and still 2 clear of 7th. Arguably slightly better position now as we have the opportunity for that gap to be 5 points to 7th on Tuesday now.

Huddersfield don't look like a top 6 team at the moment, weird how they've fallen away in recent weeks

They bought Bolton's striker in the transfer window, hoping that would weaken Bolton but it has had the opposite effect.

Birmingham are a 11 points clear with a game in hand. The highest place team they have left to play is 11th in the table. Shows how comfortable it has been for them.

Despite those losses they're still on a massive unbeaten run though.

    We're still fifth

(I searched back to find when this still 5th thing started - turns out it was actually about 2012, so it'll be lost on many here)

I thought it was originally from the 07/08 season when Pardew kept us 5th for a while despite us not looking like we’d stay there, which we didn’t.

Both WBA (6th) and Bristol City (7th) have failed to win 23 of their 36 matches this season but one of them could be playing in the PL next season. If a team can only win 36% of their games in the Championship, what hope do they seriously have of surviving in the PL?

Wrexham and Bolton lost tonight.  Wrexham away to Wycombe and Bolton at-home  to Stockport on Saturday.

O’Connell with another big mistake for Wrexham .
A terrible challenge giving away a  penalty in the defeat to Reading.

It will be a big task but catching Wycombe and Wrexham is still a possibility.

As usual, the Championship is proving the best most exciting division for the neutral.

5 of the bottom 6 winning means that Cardiff are in real trouble, and Oxford have been dragged back into the mix.

Walsall currently losing to Bromley. They could be on for one of the worst collapses in football.

On the 18th of January they were top of the league by 12 points. 15 ahead of 4th, and 17 ahead of Bradford.

If the score stays as is tonight by the end of Saturday they could be second, behind Bradford and only 4 points ahead of 4th.

Norwich pull a goal back at Bristol City. Game on.
Finished 2-1 to Bristol who move up to 5th. Norwich played some lovely stuff for spells of that game, but stay in 12th.
