  • Funny how we see the game differently. I thought he was awful. Our corner of the away end was all in agreement
  • I think you can’t compare him to the Chuks of old. He’s a different player now. He can hold the ball up and win headers, he did that today, he can’t do what he used to be able to do outside of that

Big fan of Chuks over the years and I felt the same as you today. Headless chicken games going on.
  • He was at it with their 33 after the head injury and both could have been sent off pushing shoving punching grappling , really filthy stuff going on ,
im a big fan of his but today im thinking we should give Ahadme a run  nah fuck that stick with Chuks , no matter how shit he is he’s better than that bluff

Thought he was good today. Won a lot of battles and good close control. Certainly made it easier to relieve pressure. Also played 40ish mins with no hint of (muscular) injury

I thought he was poor and offered hardly anything.
    Agree.

He offered a lot more than leaburn
Agree. For a tall guy he wins very little in the air. I hope Godden starts on Tuesday.
  • He may not be fast anymore, but his feet are pretty quick.

Like the football version of Bruce forsyth.
Not sure if he had a good game, good game.
certainly worth looking at the old Scoreboard!
  • Looked sharp today.

Looked sharp today, much better. Need him to step up if Leaburn is out
Lovely finish too. Inches offside and unlucky. He needs a goal, shame he couldn't get one today.
  • Was he offside? Didnt look offside from where i was sitting.
  • Looked sharp today, in his brief cameo, word up.

He's lost a bit of overall pace but he's still really sharp reactions wise, wouldn't by surprised if he timed it well and was on, but ass referees see the size of him and the gap between him and defenders and give it against him

    Yes, he was offside.
  • He looked far better today than he has in recent appearances. Perhaps there's still a bit of life in him.

  • Showed that he still has an important role to play.
  • Chuks could easily have shot when he squared the ball to Dixon. It's says a lot about the guy that he chose to try and tee up the kid rather than go for glory himself. Especially as goals haven't been easy to come by this season.
Thought exactly that, should’ve shot himself and had it been 1-1 he probably would’ve

tried to tee up Dixon and was very unlucky
  • Although had it been 1-1 neither wouldve been on I suspect

was trying to win a pen that he would've taken

Was directly in front of me and I could see right across the line and I thought that yes he was offside.
  • Towards the end of the game when it was 4-0 and Charlton looked like they were going to do their part in replicating the 7-6 score line and Huddersfield weren’t the approach from the losing team seemed to take on a more physical aspect. Chuks was the perfect player to bring on to counter that and I thought he had a much better game as a result than he’s enjoyed recently. Very encouraging for the run in imo because we are probably going to need him, especially if we are going to give Dixon some more time on the pitch.
