Bad injury for Wrexhams Andy Cannon. Suspected broken league.

Just goes to show, it’s not just us who are susceptible to injuries.

Leyton Orient now have four centre backs out injured after the Bolton game yesterday.
REG and Pratley dream team centre back partnership next Saturday then...
  • Great finish from Wrexham to make it 1-2
  • FT: Mansfield 1-2 Wrexham!!

Watched it. Mansfield were terrible and Wrexham were awful.

Mansfield will be seriously looking over their shoulder now - it's like us and them have switched forms since the turn of the year, no win since 4th Jan and they have been beaten by 3 of the bottom 4 in that time as well. Absolutely dropping like a stone down the league.

Should add that Huddersfield fans seem really unhappy with Duff

Apparently they've not scored a home goal this calendar year
    This is true, their home results in 2025 are 0-0, 0-1, 0-1, 0-0, 0-1.
But in that same period they have picked up 10 points from 15 away which has kept them in the play off hunt.

Interestingly Dion Charles, who i thought would be a great buy for them has yet to score in 8 appearances and has been dropped to the bench in the last 2.
Wonder if their form will pick up when / if Taylor returns from injury - They've been unlucky in the sense that he got injured pretty soon after signing for them
He’ll be like a new signing.

24 point from their first 12 matches.
14 points from their last 20 matches.

Currently on a run of 1 point from 9 games. They should be pretty worried.

I've seen Wrexham about 10 times this season.
They've not impressed me once and yet they won the majority of the games.

Shame they won today, their next 6 are tough games and a draw today would have put them as very catchable for the pack I reckon, but they are probably just a few points cushioned now.

Which could go either way. Either they’ll be found out or they’re good at winning even when they don’t play well which is a key pillar of promotion

They've been brilliant at narrowly winning games all season, often with late winners.
8 of their last 9 wins have been by 1 goal.

Think the Blades are going to regret not converting more of these chances.

WOW... What a turnaround for Leeds, two quickfire goals
Think the Blades are going to regret not converting more of these chances.
    Think you're right.

Some strike that. 3-1 Leeds. Game over.
  • Great result for Burnley who'll host Sheff Utd in their penultimate home game

    Tonight's League One games.

    Birmingham v Orient
    Northampton v Barnsley
    Wigan v Huddersfield

Three home wins would be rather nice.
  • Much as it pains me to say, i will be cheering for Brum tonight 👍

A 7-0 win for Brum moves us back to 6th, with a game in hand…come on Alfie

I'm afraid May only comes on in the last 5 minutes nowadays...🙄

Years ago Man United won something like 8-2 at Forest, Solksjaer was only on five minutes and got three or four goals.

I believe if Stansfield and Dykes are out May will start. Dykes got injured at Reading on Saturday and May came on. He made one great chance for himself but the defender blocked well and that was it, 0-0.

Brum v Os .. yep, the time of the season (was that the Zombies?) when most every game has significance .. if the Os get a point tonight, I will not be surprised, Brum have a sudden 'striker crisis' and too late to sign another one .. Barnsley and Hudds also play tonight ..  though the Tykes have slipped down the table, we could do with Wigan doing the Biz against the Never Defeated

It'll be annoying if Birmingham start picking up key injuries, after we've played them, and now want them to win every game!

I get what you're saying but they are 6 points and 2 games up front.

We want them to keep winning, so need their best players fit. Their next 3 games are Orient, Wycombe and Bolton.
  • Apologies if this is old news but Stockport 'keeper out for apprx 10 weeks ...
