1) That was one of the most one sided games I have ever seen. The Exeter manager must be on borrowed time based on that display.
2) Our pressing, tackling, chasing back was unbelievable today. Exeter just couldn't deal with it.
3) And Karoy Anderson played a major part in that. That was his best game for a very long time.
4) Kayne Ramsay just oozes class. He glides past people as if they are not there. And fair play to Jones for playing him in the back 3 as he just looks so comfortable there.
5) And finally, young Leaburn doesn't look happy to me. He's scored an absolute dream goal and didn't crack his face and whereas everyone else looked delighted at the final whistle, Leaburn just looked miserable. I hope I'm wrong but I wonder if he is fed up because he never got a move last month or because he's not starting.
On 5 I expect it’s because he’s not starting - which is understandable. It’s also understandable why he’s not starting because everything is working well as it is.

All been said but a very comfortable afternoon. Could really relax once we got the second as up to then, well, you never know. Coventry, Ramsay and Anderson the standouts but the latter gets my MOTM. Everyone else very assured and put in a shift. Onwards and upwards. Next Saturday a must not lose but I'd be happy to take all three points. COYA.
PWR - I know Karoo had a stand out performance today but to me Ramsay is the main man over the past few games. He effortlessly turns defence into attack. Always wins his tackles and then takes the ball and uses it well. Today’s tackle then pass to Miles deserves a special mention if it hasn’t already. But well played the whole team. Totally comfortable and dominant performance.
Chalk and Cheese performance against them this season. Thew away game the football was dreadful and we were dreadful no fluency at all then. Today a completely different feel about the team.
Orient lost today and travel to Birmingham on Tuesday whilst we have the week to prepare. Three tough games for the O's, lets hope we have the captain back and apart from AMB a fully fit squad for next Saturdays game.
I would not return Docherty after Anderson's performance today.

But if he took the easy option and just played a 5 yard slide pass back instead of trying to wriggle through two opponents, we wouldn’t have got the free kick which delivered the opening goal (and a yellow for the opponent who got hauled off soon after).
He has full licence to hold the ball and be selfish at times, as it is what delivers results and why teams are doubling up or man marking him.

Dominant performance. Great press. Every player played their part.
Karoy Anderson great energy throughout. I was impressed with the run that supported Tyreece Campbell's crucial 2nd goal. The Exeter defender in front of goal didn't know to go to Tyreece or cover run from Karoy. It created additional space that gave space for TC's excellent finish.
Ramsey a great player, pace to cover at right back, surges forward. The partnership with Small is really promising.
Godden, worked really hard all game. Subs at the right time. Excellent Leaburn goal. Great to have that attacking strength off the bench.
It's always a chance at 1-0, that a duff referring decision or goal from the oppsition out
of no where, can get an underseved point. Really happy to enjoy a Charlton victory seeing that the 3 points was in the bag.

Doesn't happen very often, but an example is the Lewis-Skelly red card in the Premier League today.
He initially got a Yellow Card, referee goes and looks at VAR, realises its a Red Card, but before he can give the red card he's got to signal he's withdrawing the initial yellow.
The games against Orient, Stockport, and Huddersfield will be season defining if we can keep today’s type of performance up.
After the Peterborough win, I said the players and Jones deserve a lot of credit because I genuinely couldn’t believe how we had turned it round, and still had that niggling resentment toward the club and some of the players given the last few years. I don’t think we’ve got as good a team as the one that went up in 18/19, and we hit our form at just the right time that season, but I am starting to like players again. It might sound stupid, but I’ve really disliked a lot of the dross we’ve had here in the last 3/4 years.
I’m looking at Coventry, Small, Ramsay, Edwards, Godden and thinking, I enjoy what they bring to the team

not because the Godden/TC partnership isn’t working, more to try and manage the run in. We still have a lot of games, and the little worry I have is that it’s a lot of football to try and sustain this run, and given the tightness and competition of all the sides in the mix, I do think we’ll need to keep this form up
I thought it was a great performance. But I do not understand the love for Berry. One good cross and one terrible corner, and , as Leuth says on the players' scores, 'a lot of hiding'. Yet he is being given the same score as Coventry and higher than Small and our clean sheet defenders. Go figure! And he is given a standing ovation by some when going off! Could somebody name one stand out pass, tackle or any other contribution to today's game. I genuinely want to know.
Such a good performance, took control early, kept control, never looked in danger of losing that control. So many good performances across the line up.
Much better end product from TC today, great goal and should have had an assist with a great dink to the back post. Lost count how many free kicks he won around their box. Karoy was fantastic, he’s always been a willing runner, loves a tackle and presses with intensity. Today he received on the half turn and played forward, kept possession when in tight passing combinations and his mid range passing which has previously been an issue was very good. Really pleased for him as he’s had a fair bit of flak previously.

Brilliant day and brilliant result. Superb individual performances from all over the pitch. We are looking in fine shape on the pitch and there are some seriously exciting things happening off it.
Anderson really stepped up. Away at Orient I think there is every chance that with Doc back, Karoy slots in for Berry.
If we do make the playoffs, nobody will fancy playing us.
What has changed is now we have the width from Small and TC, teams can't just defend by packing central bodies. Basically a tactic that might give a pub team a chance against us not that long ago doesn't work anymore. We are sorted at home and we ought to do better away. That is the bit we can still improve a bit on.
A totally dominant performance and I thought that was one of our best displays of the season. Granted it was against weak opposition but we controlled that game from start to finish and demonstrated an excellent blend of composure, pace and precision in possession and aggression out of it which Exeter were unable to cope with.
We should have been more than 1-0 up at half time after Berry’s excellent free kick was deflected in by a defender but we were dominant throughout, with Small running riot down the right and Campbell a constant threat on the left.
There was a brief period in the second half when the game became a little scrappy but Exeter couldn’t muster an effort on target and Campbell’s lovely strike put a more realistic look to the scoreline. Leaburn’s excellent run and footwork, following fine play from Ramsey, was the icing on the cake.
Everyone played very well and it was great that Nathan was able to make wholesale changes near the end to rest some of the starters and give their replacements some minutes (and, in the case of McIntyre, a Valley debut).
It’s almost invidious to single out individuals after such a fine team performance but Anderson was excellent in his first start for a couple of months, Campbell was dangerous throughout, Godden showed his class and experience and Ramsey continues to demonstrate that he is a level above League 1. There also can’t be a fitter midfielder in this division than Conor Coventry.
A great day all around. The other results today could hardly have gone better for us and, with the team in this form, we can look forward with confidence to the next tranche of games against Orient, Barnsley and Stockport.

It's a bit different with VAR, as that's a process designed to change decisions, included yellows and reds. It's quite common for cards to be upgraded or downgraded.
Really unusual for a ref to change their mind after protests from the players. Indeed many of there missed it!
The team played well, the manager managed well but another aspect is that in mid February we have a fully fit squad, except AM-B, and that must be down to the physios and medical team
Had Exeter made a game of it I think we could have gone through the gears and looked even more comfortable.
Jones the manager has been a revelation for me, but Ramsey and Small are the standout players at the moment.
Miles goal showed how is progressing, before he had his injury he would have struggled to get the ball out from his feet, and the work he has put in since the injury is paying off.
Think we are hitting form just at the right time, starting to feel like their is a real buzz around the club.
