Not a good set of results for us. Makes bouncing back on Saturday even more important2

Excellent baitswords_alive said:Season over. They're all much better than us. Orient have skill, physicality, score when they're on top. Going to embarrass us in a few weeks time too, and then if we get to Wembley we'll get beaten again. Was going to buy that 6 pack offer but not anymore. All hope is gone.5 -
Personally i think it's too early to be worrying about what other teams are doing, there's still a third of the season to go.
A team in good form, might suddenly lose 2 games in 4 days and then they're looking over their shoulder. Similarly a side that look out of it might win Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday and are right in the mix.
If we keep winning our home games and then pick up 2-3 away wins, we still have a great chance of getting top 6.8 -
Results went about as badly as they could have two matchdays in a row which is unfortunate but we are still well in it. No need for panic.13

Few fans could do with picking up a pack of these when they next go shopping

Hard to see where Orient will drop points, other than against Brum6 -
few weeks back I was convinced it would be lower than that but Orient are beyond relentless and Huddersfield picked up again and deffo looks like more than 75 atmcharente addick said:15 games to go. But it is going to take more than 75 points.1 -
And then they go to Birmingham.killerandflash said:

Starting to come around to this way of thinking now - I was sure Wycombe, Orient and Stockport particularly would start to fall away but they are really not going anywhere. Hudders have seemingly turned a corner and Wrexham probably have enough of a buffer even if they have a drop in form for 3 or 4 games, a luxury we can ill afford. I do think something has to give soon.oohaahmortimer said:

Tasty last day of the season Huddersfield v Orient, Wycombe v Stockport5

Within the next 6 games each:Wycombe play Birmingham, Wrexham & Huddersfield.
Wrexham play Bolton, Huddersfield & Wycombe
Stockport play Us, Bolton & Wrexham
Huddersfield play Wrexham
Orient play Bolton, Birmingham & Us
We play Orient, Barnsley & Stockport
Bolton play Orient, Wrexham, Birmingham & Stockport.Everything could be completely upside down and inside out once we get through the above.22 -
I stand by my thinking that a side still playing Pratley in centre mid will not make the playoffs. Orient will fall awayoohaahmortimer said:

With two of Birmingham's next three games being against Orient and Bolton, Stansfield's injury could not have come at a worse time for us. I was surprised that May didn't start and they benched Stansfield for this game. Hopefully he will step up now.2

Orient winning away from home at Wrexham after going a goal behind is impressive. They're on fire, sadly.0

Assist for the second goal. Was all over the pitch tonight until he got sent off it.Croydon said:

Pratley has been good recently but for much of the fall he has been pretty poor. Orient fans were clamoring to upgrade his position during the January window.0

Orient first 16 games = 15 points
Next 15 games = 38 pts (10 clean sheets)0 -
The result last night for Orient is very impressive and they do have good momentum. However, they’ve got so many of the teams fighting for something at the top end of the league to play that we can’t really judge how good they are and what’s likely to happen. Their next 3 is Bolton, Birmingham and us.
For me, if we just focus on ourselves and win the games we need to, especially our home games, then there will be change in the top 6 as so many have to play each other.
My only concern between now and the end of the season is our away form isn’t the best. We have it in us to pull out a stinker. With playing Orient, Stockport, Wrexham and Wycombe away from home in our last 15, we really need to make sure we don’t have another poor or under par performance away from home. Get 7 or 8 points from those 4 games and we will put ourselves in with a good chance of the play offs.4 -

Impressed with both Orient goals, first one especially.0

I've done some digging and we've only won a single game this season from being a goal behind. Bolton away last month. That to me is also a concern, as play-off games rarely go how you would like them to, in design!Sage said:The result last night for Orient is very impressive and they do have good momentum. But now we have attacking options available and show a clear ability to score late in the game, I hope we can add to that one win if we do fall behind in a game.0 -
Dykes and May (and possibly even Jutkiewicz) are still very decent options for this division. Dykes and May would start for most other teams in this division and they're Stansfield's back ups which just shows how strong Birmingham are.Addick Addict said:With two of Birmingham's next three games being against Orient and Bolton, Stansfield's injury could not have come at a worse time for us. True, but we've kept a lot of clean sheets, relatively speaking. If you don't concede you can't come from behind.

This has been an issue for us for a number of years.mendonca said:

However, it is definitely a concern we don’t turn games around in the way we want when we do go down 1-0.
We have scored and conceded the first goal on 14 occasions so far this season. When conceding first we’ve won 1, drew 4 and lost 9. When scoring first we’ve won 13, drew 1 and lost 0. The other 3 results have been 0-0.
The first goal is absolutely crucial.
On a side note, it would have been twice this season but for a moment of madness in the last minute at Barnsley.3 -
Luton Vs Plymouth tonight, a real six pointer. It's baffling how bad Luton have been this season0
