Home Beer Pump

Anyone have any experience or advice with regard to a home beer pump (one that you put on your kitchen worktop and uses kegs)?
I'm keen on getting one so I've had a quick google and it's a minefield so I'd rather take advice from someone who's actually experienced one.
Beerwulf or Phillips - that sort of thing.

I've got the newer Perfect Draft machine. Still love it. I think the general consensus is the Blade is a superior machine but I believe (at least last time I checked) PD offer a better range of kegs.Bolderhumphreyreid said:Thanks but things might have moved on in 4 years.

Offers aren't as good as they use to be but still easy enough to get pints between 2 & 3quid.1 -
Mine’s just stopped working. Changed a keg and the display went off and that was that. Anyone know what the issue might be? Do PerfectDraft fix them or is it a case of getting a new one?0

The same happened to my perfect draft just before Christmas, just bought new kegs for Christmas day when we had some family round and it then didn’t work, luckily I was able to borrow one from a friend who wasn’t using his. I am trying life without it. I loved it when I had it, beer tasted great in every glass, good selection on offer but not the cheapest way to have a beer at home.Boom said:Mine’s just stopped working. I have the PerfectDraft Pro, and I love it. For a person who drinks a fair bit at home it’s perfect.I bought the original PerfectDraft 2019 and upgraded to the Pro when they did a special promotion.
I did a lot of research on both machines beforehand and looked at the others on the market.
There are loads of reviews on YouTube, so take a look at Big Bald Reviews and All The Beer, No Idea, and then that will lead you to others on there.
The last time I checked I had got the price of a pint down to about £2.15. But I have always bought on special offers and discounts.
Take into account that including the price of the machine, your first few pints will cost you about £15.00 a pint, but over the years and buying wisely the cost will come down as I mentioned above.
On a side note, I have discovered some beers that I would never of tried and are now my favourites, like Hertog Jan and Leffe Summer.
I hope you find what’s right for you and enjoy a very good pint at home.2 -
