I have a ticket in the home end of the west stand in block D, which is near the halfway line.
There are no pillars, so this offers a better view if anybody is interested in swapping for it.0 -
this person rents out their balcony for £30 per person on match days might be worth a look - if memory serves it’s near the away end

you are so close to the pitch on the balcony of these flats that on the ground floor you can touch the corner taker[if you are so inclined]guinnessaddick said:

Ticket exchange - what a great idea !stoneroses19 said:
Season ticket holders who can't make the game can put their seat into a "pot" for someone else to use. You also get £10 refunded into your ST account.
Now that's something we should look at doing. There are always loads of empty seats in the stands but looking at the ticketing system they are all gone.4 -
Why would we look at doing it with more than 10,000 spare seats every game?golfaddick said:

Exactly
Might work at Arsenal don’t see it working at Charlton somehow 😂0 -
Works at Spurs my other half and her two sons can sell theirs via the legitimate spurs website and the money is put towards next years season ticket, i.e. reduction in next years cost0

As the season ticket holder you might have to pay someone to sit in your seat. Loss maker in my mind. End up with next year's ticket 3 times the priceDA9 said:Works at Spurs my other half and her two sons can sell theirs via the legitimate spurs website and the money is put towards next years season ticket, i.e. reduction in next years cost

Ticket exchange only works for sold out stadiums.
The club make more money and season ticket holder gets some of their ticket price back.1 -
I think we did try that when we were in the EPL. Airman could confirm if that was the case.2

A lot of PL teams do it.At Charlton it might work as a way of redistributing free or cheap tickets in local community / for first time visitors? And instead of giving money off to the ST holder donating their ticket, perhaps give a credit of a few loyalty points? It is potentially quite a bit of effort though when the stadium is half empty anyway - it would need significantly higher attendances to give it proper momentum.8
