Definitely used to be the case but not sure if it still applies. Even if they wear short sleeves, some players these days wear those long sleeve under layer tops so at a distance it looks like they're wearing long sleeved shirts anyway.

Me too. When you were running around the cold wasn't a factor at all. In fact, it was better playing in the cold than the heat. A bigger issue for the keeper.

Sadly not the case. Flamini broke it originally (drove the kit man mad). They ended up talking him over.
