Think Arsenal team all wear the same sleeves and it is captains choice.
Definitely used to be the case but not sure if it still applies. Even if they wear short sleeves, some players these days wear those long sleeve under layer tops so at a distance it looks like they're wearing long sleeved shirts anyway.
  • When was the last time a Charlton player wore a long sleeved shirt?
    Outfield players, 18-19 I think.

19-20 home shirts were available in LS, although i'm not sure they were sold in the club shop.
  • Amad getting a hat-trick in his tonight.

I think they are getting more popular again. Hopefully.

  • always enjoyed playing in a long sleeved shirt alot more for some reason
  • Even a couple of the Bristol Rovers players (two of the subs) wore them last night.

I was the opposite - short sleeved even in freezing weather - just found long sleeved annoying

Me too. When you were running around the cold wasn't a factor at all. In fact, it was better playing in the cold than the heat. A bigger issue for the keeper.

Sadly not the case.  Flamini broke it originally (drove the kit man mad). They ended up talking him over.

    Presently:
"Well, unfortunately, I think that went a wee bit over the last two years,” Vic Akers (former kit man to Arsene Wenger) told Sky Sports. “Certain individuals wanted to wear the opposite and they got their way. Sadly, that tradition has almost gone now. Very sad.”

It is just a quote on the walls of the Emirates Stadium.

Adidas seem to be the main manufacturer, wonder if Nike etc. don't bother producing them

Yep mostly Adidas but West Ham (Umbro), Mackems (Hummel) and Palace (Macron) have a done them for for a few years.

That Liverpool kit is indeed fantastic.
  • Most of the Adidas kits this season are a thing of beauty, especially in long sleeve

  • Liverpool have an outrageous set of kits this season

I was in JD's last week and noticed this beauty on sale. Its absolutely lovely.
  • It's goalkeepers in short sleeve shirts which I still find odd! That Liverpool kit would make a good GK kit.
