    I assume there must've been a guarantee? 

    The pitch looks awful and there's five months to go (the worst five months weather and growing wise).  I Dunno who negotiates these things for Charlton, but at this moment, that (reported) one million pounds looks about as good as the one spent on Ahadme.

    Not quite yet but if they train hard, I’m sure they will reach that level.

    Other clubs with similar pitches have no problems playing lots of games on them. And we're not even into the coldest part of winter yet.

    I attended a youth game at Gillingham a couple of weeks ago, their pitch made ours look like Hackney marshes, it was lush and pristine

    Surely, we can't have been had over by the SMT to bring some waves and strays to lay a pitch, similarities to what shirkers NJ has signed up!

    The hybrid-stitched Desso pitch will have a much greater durability, meaning it will be in better condition throughout the campaign. 👀

    I think it's fair to have expected anyone paying a million or whatever it was to have done their research, but I guess not with us.

    We do the same with players, look how that has turned out.

    To be fair the same company laid Lutons pitch a couple of years back and that's still excellent. ;)
