Avanti are {potentially} running an 8.16 and 9.16 from Euston taking 3.5 hours, this costs £39 without a railcard discount.
On the way back there is a 17.18 and 18.18 taking a shade under 4 hours, costing £33.50 without a railcard discount.  The 17.18 is very tight to get back four unless you're a quick walker.

    Alternatively, this could be an option, a bit cheaper but risking the changing of trains(bearing in mind the train company).
