            RIP
A very committed fan who as well as his "History of" book, produced "The Addicks Cartoons" on the very early years of the Club. Both essential to any Charlton library.

More sad news. I had plenty of dealings with Richard when I was compiling my own Charlton books which compared to the fine works of Messrs Cameron and Redden were mere stocking fillers. He was a feisty man but I loved his spirit and he was very helpful to me. I remember him giving a lively talk down at Hall Place in Bexley which was entertaining and informative in equal measure. RIP Richard.8

Sad news. I first met Richard when we were at Selhurst Park as he lived in my road. It was his idea to start a supporters group which he called ‘Hayes & West Wickham Supporter Group’. First meeting there was just 3 of us there and he made me treasurer. We eventually evolved into Bromley Addicks and we are still going strong. 100% Charlton through and through. Former archivist and writer of some super books………….Richard , thanks for your contribution !!
