I like Si but I can't see his persona would work when critiquing others cooking abilities. He seems too warm-hearted to have a go at someone who made an error with how they cooked their aubergines for example.

For clarity, I think his behavior has been deplorable and well done to those who have called him out over it.

Yeah but it was her job and her livelihood on the line, she probably knew that there were possible consequences but walking away would ALSO have consequences... which is exactly what Wallace was counting on.

That's the entire point, she made a decision that she absolutely knew could turn out badly but felt pressurised to make anyway. That's EXACTLY THE POINT. That's why it's a bad thing.

She was basically working for him though, as he was paying her to write his book so if she'd walked away the assumption is that she wouldn't have got paid. I'm sure she also said in her interview that she had turned down other work to write his book, so she was clearly in a position where it was tough to just walk away from her income.

Think she said that she was waiting in the lounge etc for him to go and get dressed which is a pretty reasonable thing to do, and that's when apparently he came back in and dropped the towel.

As I said I hadn't/haven't read the full story and was going on the comment here hence my caveat at the beginning.

Another thing that has bothered me about all this is the use of term 'misogyny' especially by the media.  What he has done is sexism and inappropriate behaviour towards women. 

Did anyone actually watch the Professional episode last night.
There was a huge innuendo between Monica and Gaston (who is gay) regarding plugging potatoes.
Himself and I looked at each other & both said……..thank feck Gregggggggg wasn’t there!
Tbh, half the episode was on location and GW wasn’t actually there. It is soooooooooooo much better without him!
