Just shows what an absolute mess of it he made the first time2 -
Stop the world I have got to get off. The days of work banter with either sex is well and truly over. Love to go out on a night out with those complaining and hear what they have to say and joke about men. Comparing the size of one's manhood usually goes round the table.
At our place women are allowed to have men's calendars displayed but we can't in our change area of women calendars.
My mother was a barmaid for 40 years and run her own hotel in Scotland. She said if I took offence at every innuendo or smut joke she wouldn't have any customers, and a mile long queue if prosecuting.
Wonder what took them so long to get offended. Some been out of the limelight comes to mind.1 -
I'm sure many people that try and defend idiots like Wally Wallace would have been the kind of people trying to defend slavery and rasict comments all those years ago too. Times move on but clearly some people can't/won't2

I don't watch MasterChef I have only seen clips of the ex Millwall hooligan.
Gregg W, has a great face for radio.
Yet again a man has let his ego get the better of him and he will probably go back to his market stall or start a pod cast under the Midas touch of Gary Lineker's Goalhanger productions.
Wallace and vomit (sorry John Torode) are not my staple TV diet I'm more Nigella "I don't wear anything in bed" Lawson though I would think the richness of her food has seen the demise of many men but at least they popped their clogs with a smile on their face.

Fear not Gregg, a social media career as an anti-woke warrior alongside working class hero Laurence Fox awaits.Ventured on to Twitter and searched his name on Friday and then on Sunday. On Friday, pretty much solid condemnation. On Sunday, following his middle class women comment, the tribal battle lines had been drawn. So depressingly predictable!1 -

Fast forward to now and racism, whilst still pretty rampant in places, has largely gone from everyday society. Now misogyny and sexism is frowned upon and people are generally trying to get rid of it, and there's some people desperately trying to cling on and saying things like "it's just banter" and "girls say sexist stuff too" and fail to realise that the world moves on and almost always for the better.4 -
There are calls for tonight's episode to be pulled. I don't think that is fair on the contestants, the show is bigger than one man.7

I’ve been successfully ignoring the cretin for years now.
A few more episodes won’t hurt.2 -
It won't be pulled and neither will the already filmed Christmas special(s)0
-
Wallace will probably be a Reform candidate at the next election. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if he won a seat.0

Not a chance they pull the rest of the Professionals series but I never really understood why he was on it anyway. That show was absolutely fine with 2 judges.1
-
Very low down on the list of terrible comments he's made is his maths. How on earth does he get 20 years of 50-60 contestants per series, plus 16 series of 40-48 contestants, plus 18 series of 20-24 contestants to come to 4,000? Perhaps his terrible sums is part the reason quite a lot of his businesses have gone bust..?0

That's why its banter. Gregg seems to think it's ok wherever he goes whoever he meets. That's at best pretty stupid and at worst harrassment.

I think we're all in agreement that Gregg has let himself down.
Are we all in agreement then that Lorraine Kelly shouldn't be fawning all over Pete Wicks in a recent interview, which resulted in her giving him a sniff?
I'm all for things being done right and equality but surely Lorraine has crossed the line here too and should be cancelled?
Any chance someone can find something on Ben Shepperd and get him and Tipping Point cancelled too? I'll give him a bloody boomerang drop!1 -

The whole sorry episode is boiling away nicely...
He is so painfully self-unaware.
The BBC get a kicking, which is ok by me.
The media Chatterrati, are getting knickers/boxers in a right old twist, good stuff.
Tabloids bottom feeding on the whole mess, no surprise there.
Hopefully one less cooking show on TV, nice.
Sit back and enjoy.0 - Sponsored links:

To be honest, I’m finding watching Shirley fawn over Pete every week on Strictly extremely uncomfortable. So I definitely agree there needs to be consistency when it comes to this sort of thing.
Just quit it altogether, it’s not difficult is it?4 -

The question for me is who will be next to be exposed / cancelled?
Whilst not at all defending him it does feel that the industry / the media is currently in a phase of always looking for the next high profile name to expose. Feels almost like they have a list of names they want to ‘out’ for bad if not illegal behaviourNot clear if these exposes are being coordinated in some way or just coincidence or just giving people more confidence to come forward.1 -
The only thing that has really surprised me a bit in all this is that Rod Stewart has waded in and defended his wife, fair enough, but as far as I’m aware she didn’t report it which surprises me considering she’s a Special Constable so must realise the impact this would have on others similarly affected who hadn’t reported it because they may have thought they wouldn’t be believed. Maybe if she’d reported it earlier she may have prevented others from any distress caused.0
