Not sure Scott is to blame, Jones has been given freedom to build this squad. I would guess it was Scott who didn’t feel Docherty could play as a 10 or become a regular goalscorer. Whoever challenged Jones on that was right.MarcusH26 said:Scoham said:
Shouldn’t sign so many with Luton links and completely ignore players with technical ability, flair and creativityKinsella87 said:The quality our players have on the ball is awful. Even if we had another manager they’d still be shit
This is it for me at the end of the day , the complete lack of flair and creativity - I don't understand why this was completely ignored by Scott and Jones in favour of a group of pretty identical midfielders.
Yeah I'm just not entirely sure how the recruitment setup really works if it is NJ with Carte Blanche on signings and that's how we've ended up with what's really an unbalanced mess of a squad again. No Ramsay and Lloyd Jones doesn't help but the rest of it just feels like there's no real idea of what we want to be as a team beyond NJ mentioning wanting to be " front footed" like he usually does.

I can see him walking if this doesn't turn around soon, as much of a knob Jones can be, something tells me his pride wouldn't let him hang around for the money, can't say I know the bloke though so who knows2

Apparently, given the last 2 transfer windows, it doesn't.MarcusH26 said:Scoham said:

14th, 4 points off relegation, 7 points off playoffs3

Nathan Jones behaviour during and after the game is revolting and does not reflect well on CAFC also at this rate he will get us relegated.5

May has not done much for Birmingham this season. Had 40mins today to them back in the game, they lost 2-1.RoanRedNY said:i think a fit Leaburn with Alfie for a good run in the side would have been a good watch. But we got Hylton and Ahadme. I can only think of 2 players currently injured that would be first team regular starters. As I am after the dogs been out, I’m just left with a pile of pooh.3 -

So Jones has been with us for not far off a year and has only managed to get us 4 points away from relegation, as opposed to the 1 point when he took over....
It's really not good enough.6 -
Thanks everyone, over to the post-match thread.2
