remember us being 2-0 down at home to Sheff  Wed and he came on and totally changed the game

The Italian right back we had, Motta. I liked him, even though it was an awful time for us
That team actually had some pretty good, likeable players given the state of the club. A real step above the current crop of players too which is depressing
  • Assume it has already been said but I really liked Simon Church and Marvin Sordell, despite them both not being particularly great for us.

Wand of a left foot. (It was him who took the corner from which Jacko scored in the QPR game.)

    Lungs of an asthmatic tortoise...
Would have been a good player in the 1970s and 80s, where teams could carry someone with skill and vision but no fitness.

    haven't we all....
  • From the dark days of Roland.

Simon Makienok, looked like Scandinavian elf, i remember he turned up in the crowd at an away match.

    Also, André Bikey.
  • Half a game Joe Ledley
Replaced half time on his debut,  never seen again.
    Thanks for the memories.

I was there .  He’d have been the best player in our current midfield but he was dreadful that day

    That was really strange.

He was a great player for Cardiff and Celtic and also Palace and a Welsh International icon , but will always be remembered negatively by the Addicted.
