Sigh!!... 2019-20 was the last time we had a Manager survive a full season - But lets continue to give Managers a handful of months, expect instant results, and be shocked when it doesnt work out.DDOUBLEE said:
How many times are we going to have persist with the same boring performances every Tues/Sat? When did we last win a game without extra time against a non-league side? I get lol’d for wanting our club to be successful, seems far too many are comfortable with this shitForeverAddickted said:DDOUBLEE said:#JonesOut
Then we can point to the likes of Bolton who stuck by their Manager, and Wycombe who have built something with Bloomfield... and scratch our heads in bewilderment, wondering how they can do it (even Caldwell today), and fail to realise they themselves get a few years to try and put things right.
Thats why I lol!'d your post5 -
Just no attacking threat at all. The only person injured who has this is Tyreece. Chuks maybe but he is damaged goods. Really need some work in transfer market in January. Mid table at best.1

And the obsession with his old pals from Luton is a disgrace, A.Campbell STARTING AGAIN despite being poor in every game so far, Hylton on the bench over Dixon when everyone else with a bit of pace is injured, the only one who’s actually good (Berry) never even starts a game! What’s the point?3

God help usClem_Snide said:Utter shit. Can't pass the ball to a yellow shirt, Exeter are being given as much time as they want on the ball, the press is non existent, midfield may as well not be there - we might as well play with 10 men with Campbell out there.
Unfortunately I look at the bench and don't see much to change it. Perhaps Berry, perhaps Ahadme to give some mobility up front. No doubt Jones will wait till we are 2-0 down and then bring on the firecracker that is Danny Hylton.
I was excited when we brought Jones in as the manager, but I am rapidly losing faith. Said it already but we are regressing imo. If we were boring our way to wins week after week I still wouldn't like it, but playing this poorly week in week out is ridiculous. I just don't see a game plan or any positive progress.
The players look flat and disinterested and that is a real worry.2 -

This with bells on!! We cant just keep sacking managers every few months. We've had years of mismanagment, its going to take quite a while and probably at least another 2 transfer windows to start righting the wrongsForeverAddickted said:

O'm.sue there was more entertainment years ago. Even when were in the lower divisions in the 80's & 90's there was always goalmouth action & goals. Players didnt take 10 passes to get the ball forward. Players like Martin Robinson, Carl Harris, Shaun Newton & Jonny Robinson were average players but they could run at defenders & create things.EveshamAddick said:I’m beginning to think football is broken. The Euros was a load of dogshit and they were supposed to be internationals. Players don’t know how to play any more.3 -
That was a very poor 1st half. 9 injuries aren't helping, but those on the pitch are way off the pace.1
 -
It’s actually got to the stage where I feel the need to apologise regarding my Ahadme comments, we wouldn’t create a single chance if we had Messi/Ronaldo up front with the way we are set up1

Hope this isn't another positive first 5-minutes followed by the 40-minute collapse2

And when they were all fit how did we do then ? Apart from the first 4 matches we've been average at best.Algarveaddick said:
In fairness, they did say we have 9 players out injured at the moment. It would be interesting to know how close we have been to having Jones’s first choice 11 on the pitch at any point this season?RoanRedNY said:i am reluctantly coming to the conclusion that this year’s Charlton team simply might not be good enough to move out of mid table mediocrity.1 -
