Now that's the strike partnership we need to see line up tomorrow...🤞9

Given that Kanu is definitely out and Ahadme 'needs more time' I'd be surprised if Miles doesn't starteastterrace6168 said:Now that's the strike partnership we need to see line up tomorrow...🤞4 -
Or Jones plays Mannion upfront instead and hands Miles a pair of gloves.charente addick said:

I wonder if there was some kind of BCD friendly last week to continue getting him up to speed? Leaburn and Godden starting, to be replaced by Aneke and Campbell is an exciting thought1
-
Sorry but why is Kanu out?charente addick said:

Brilliant impact today, please can we get to a place where we have Leaburn starting and Aneke coming on from the bench6
-
Some of his hold up play was quality, painful when I compare it to what we’ve seen from Ahadme this season7
-
His hold up play and running the channels was great. Finishing was shockingly bad.0
-
Lots of people were saying he isn’t a hold up man while he was out injured, think he proved that’s cobblers today12
-
He's a hell of a unit now ain't he, I doubt that theres any hope of keeping him after christmas

If his finishing today is anything to go by, I think we'll be okay.Hal1x said:He's a hell of a unit now ain't he, I doubt that theres any hope of keeping him after christmas
(I'm assuming it was rust and he'll rip the division a new one for the next 2 months).2 -
Almost sent their defender to an early retirement with that shoulder barge in our half.2
-
So good to see Miles back. He is such a threat and really looking forward to seeing his partnership with Godden develope. Needs a few more games before we see him at his best.2

And you've seen him live in the flesh exactly how many times?fenaddick said:Lots of people were saying he isn’t a hold up man while he was out injured, think he proved that’s cobblers today
Last season he was pushed out on the right because he was bullied by league 1 defenders.
He has bulked up in the last 12 months and he might now be able to do the role, but he clearly couldn't a year ago.4 -
He’s an absolute monster, bit rusty finishing wise today.

We look more of a threat with Miles on the pitch.0

Another game or so and hes finishing at least one of those chances today, like you say, just a bit rustyElthamaddick said:He’s an absolute monster, bit rusty finishing wise today.0 -
he's got the lot.enjoy him whilst we can11

Plenty of times and when I said he could do it I pointed out he’d bulked up and people still said he wouldn’t be able to do itbolloxbolder said:

What’s latest on his contract? Did he ever sign/extend? Not sure how long we’ll be able to keep him..0

Nothing signed yet , can talk to European sides from Jan about a precontract and I'd expect if he hits form there will no shortage of interest both domestically and abroad. Just hope we're actively in talks.2 -
Whatever happens, I hope that no grief is given to him and his family who have been so good for this club. As the last 12 months have proved, you’re never too far from it all ending.Leftfootforward said:What’s latest on his contract? Did he ever sign/extend? Not sure how long we’ll be able to keep him..
I genuinely believe the best for all parties is that he does sign a new contract, kills it this year and the money he’ll be able to demand will be that much higher in the summer and the club will get a good deal.Either way, I hope we get to see him perform in a Charlton shirt for a bit longer as he looks such an exciting prospect. We know his shooting is excellent, so a bit of a rustiness isn’t too concerning.13
