A sobering stat - the opposition have scored at least 400 in the first innings of 11 of our 12 matches. The only one they didn't do so in was the televised game against Lancashire which was our only victory of the season. In that match, Agar and Gilchrist took 15 of the 20 wickets to fall between them for just 193 runs.1
